The percentage of people who voted was higher in 2012 than in the recent election of 2016. Given that the US's population has increased every year. Also, the number of people who wrote in joke votes for the president was way higher in 2016. So trump only getting a few more than Romney but still losing the popular votes to Clinton gives a better indication that mostly Independents and Democrats changed their votes. This bears out by the number of write in of Bernie Sanders there was for president. I hold these people responsible for the election of the current POTUS. They will also be whining about all their liberties and other losses. I've been watching Stephen's monologue every night since this show started. It's unnerving in the last few months to watch him incrementally lose his ability to keep the comedy light.
