Excellent information. Question: How did you connect a MIDI controller keyboard to the iostation 24C because I don't see a dedicated port...? Greetings!

The keyboard is plugged in directly to the computer not the io station. Both keyboard and io station can control studio one and that’s what you saw.

Does this work as a standalone analog style dual mic pre ? (with each mic input going out to seperate audio outputs?)

No it’s a interface with daw control functions stripped from the Presonus Fader Ports with 2 mic pres/ instrument lines that’s recognized as 2 inputs in the daw. Once it’s connected, you can route the mic to go anywhere you want. There’s only master left and right outputs for monitor speakers. Most stand alone preamps won’t have daw integration features like this.

Hello, I just bought this thing on Christmas Eve and despite numerous attempts to incorporate it into my system it’s just not working. I’m running studio one 4 professional on a pc running windows 10, and bought it to replace my audio box. I install universal control before going into the options menu to select it as the interface, I see it there but when I go to select it I get some sort it error message and studio one rejects it. Thinking there might be some sort of conflict, I uninstalled and deleted the universal control drivers for the audio box, rebooted the pc and again tried to get the ic24c online, but run into the same problem. I really wanted this interface but at this point it’s a $300.00 albatross for me so regrettably I’ll be returning it. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

This product was design to work with most DAWs, I don't own fruity loops so I have no idea how setup works.

I’ve been getting a scratchy noise coming out of my iostation, do you know what this might be? I’ve checked preferences and everything seems to be running smooth, but when I use the iostation on studio one, it makes a crackly noise.

Yeah because it’s really not a topic. They sound like all the other preamps in all Presonus interfaces. The quality has always been decent.

I know about the term "DAW" after hearing someone use that term the other day and I looked it up. I mean you explain it pretty well for someone who knows absolutely nothing about this but I guess I would just have to download a manual and maybe read it while using it. What brought you to this video? Did someone suggest that you need this hardware for recording? The terms I'm using is for the people who need this interface/ control unit. If you are a beginner and don't know what I'm talking about, you probably don't need this. This is unit is for people who overstands how controllers work as it connects to Studio One and other 3rd party DAWs. In your case you'll need to learn your DAW first and then venture out for the extra bells and whistles.
