I'm still rocking with Studio One and discovering more and more thing that I'm impressed with all the time. I'm curious though,...did Teddy Riley and/or Presonus ever release the T.R. sound samples that he spoke of at 1:06:00???

A true legend indeed, but please do not switch DAW just because Mr. Riley is "using" it, automatically thinking you will yield the same results. In Pensado's Place #169 (dated 2014) he says he's using Logic X. Do not be a sheep, use whatever fits your workflow best.

He never stated he was using Logic X, they were talking about Notator and one of the hosts mentioned how Notator became Logic,. "That's right, it became Logic X,, Logic Pro". Teddy is big on playing round with a few DAW's, he's even been seen using Pro Tools recently. He is really quite fluent with the tech side of things, as he was talking about building the ultimate PC for a desert island with 64GB RAM, 6TB HDD etc.

I just moved from Mac Book and Logic to Toshiba Satellite and Studio One 2..Loving so far. Take it from a 15 year vet with a degree in Music. I have used and been taught everything and Studio One is the best DAW I have ever used. It is the smartest system ever created. Its only a matter of time for Pro Tools to stream line its software to compete with this one.

Derrick, thanks! Studio One plays well with others. I recommend downloading the Free demo of Studio One Professional, and go into the External Devices menu. You will find presets for seven Akai products there. Others can be added manually. I think you'll be good to go. :)

I am switching from FL Studio 10 to PreSonus after watching this video and the one from 2012. So excited. Where may I find Teddy Riley's track ball mouse and the interface he's using? So impressed and excited to seamlessly make music without any Midi-timing lag whatsoever.

I would really give it a try before deciding. I am a home recording hobbyist musician, I tried every trial out there before settling on Studio One. This current version 2.5 is incredible and so easy to use. Everyone that I know has switched to Studio One including popular DAW instructors: such as Joe Guilder from the homestudiocorner website.

+PreSonus Audio Electronics I got the Audiobox iTwo & it didn't come with any software. There was a piece of paper that says I would have to download it. I go to the page to register an account & it's automatically rejected. I get an email, telling me to reset my password & that was strange because I've never had an account with Presonus. Finally, I make it through the page; only to have my product key rejected, smh. They said it was invalid. How could they say my code was invalid, when it came from Presonus ? I'm really beginning to look at this all; as a false advertisement for this product. From my understanding, I would get the software for free, but they are trying to charge me. The only software they are trying to get me to download for free, is a demo; really guys ? The customer service isn't any better. I've contacted Presonus & Sweetwater ( where I ordered it from ), and the only replies that I've gotten were we are sorry. I really think you guys need to be straightfoward with consumers before putting a product on display, that doesn't have everything that you claim it does.#PISSED#CUSTOMER

I usually don't post on youtube, but I have to tonight. My go to DAW recently was Cubase with Reason as a partner to it. I've worked with Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Digital Performer and Sonar. Each of these are great, but within an hour of trying the Studio One 2 Demo last night, I made 3 songs and then immediately Ordered the Professional version on zzsounds.com. I think all the DAWs have good features but for me, Studio One 2 is just so easy to use yet it sounds so good! I'm hooked!

there is one big thing i like in studio one is the way there drumsounds is sounding is nice and clean for real i like there eq, there drummachine, but i dont like the other instruments you can,t do realy mutch whit them so you need to grab thirt party plugins

I agree with you my friend, there were some points that Teddy was making only to have the other guy keep interrupting. I am sure that Teddy who is an A-list producer can explain what he meant. You can easily be confused when two people are trying to explain the same thing. It was probably this same guy who probably had him rushing to the seminar which resulted in Teddy not being properly prepared. When you bring in someone to do a seminar, just let him flow, period. No interruptions!!
