Great content mate. Did you already have the acid diluted in the drum? If so, what ratio please. Or did you just stick your Venturi tube in a neat drum of acid and let it come out at 4:1. Cheers mate

Glad there are some good bricky's around that actually care for workmanship. Just had my house done by an absolute spastic.

Sorry to hear mate. Bad brickwork? Anything in particular than can be fixed up or just general poor workmanship? Where did you build?
@1171e3 жыл бұрын
@@hendosbricklaying2003 Yeah pretty bad workmanship alot of issues with brick work being out of tolerance as per code. First time they bricked the house with the wrong brick so all that had to come down approx 10k bricks... Now second time round the finishes are very bad, colums out of square, mortar patched with a different colour... I can go on. Alot of re-pointing going on and more bricks coming down where required. Glad Im in the industry and know how to deal with this bs.

Hey mate love your videos good to see a tradie that loves what he does and has some pride in his work. I’ve just done the brick cleaning course myself to get into brick cleaning as I’ve been doing just general pressure cleaning for the last 10 years and want to expand what services my business offers. Just wondering though how do you go about getting work with builders as that’s the hurdle that I’m stuck on.

love seeing these type of videos from you thinking of doing the 2 day acid washing course and buying my own acid washing setup in melbourne aswell
@hendosbricklaying20033 жыл бұрын
I haven’t done the course but my mate has who taught me the basics of washing. He did it with Austral said it’s well worth it learnt a lot. 100% man it’s not the worst idea whilst it’s busy right now and builders are crying out for bricklayers and washers. You won’t have to look far to find the work and it’s a good way to pick up a good 400-500$ bucks in half a day.

How much does acid wash per brick you get in Victoria ?
@hendosbricklaying20033 жыл бұрын
We get 50$ per thousand brick. Which for a job like this is around $450
@hendosbricklaying20033 жыл бұрын
@@aussie8114 interesting. And maybe so. I know this price is generally across the board AVERAGE. Some paying 45 some in the 60s you can get private work for around the 80$ per thou mark however for these builds we are in and out within 3 hours or so when you weigh it up it’s not so bad
