That stop is there for a reason! Living here 40+ years seen a lot of trucks out of control, smoking brakes down that grade (Old Fort / I-40E) due to not stopping at the top. Like truckers used to say, you can go down a steep grade slow a thousand times but you’ll only go fast down it once.
