Excellent work Marv. I know the area well. My husband was a truck driver, he could drive Marv, like no man. I did worry when he had the run from Maine to anywhere in Jersey or Delaware etc. just that route I saw today with you, was worrisome to me (all worrisome but you get my point). You can drive too. My husband passed away just a few years ago. It’s Christmas Eve, I miss him deeply but your video reminded me there is a season for everything. Need guardrail in that spot hate when ppl do that sh//. I had a very close call last week basically like what they were doing in the first few minutes of the video. I was on the off ramp, and van comes up on the left. Then they Decided to cut in front of me they almost hit the concrete divider (mustve had road work recently) because the ramp curved off few seconds before then they stomped on the brakes spun out. I was driving an empty trailer so that made it more fun but i seen it happening before it did so i downshifted and got on the breaks and got to the right and then it happened i was watching my convex and man i thought my rears were going over the hood but got lucky. The dumb ass had 3 kids in the car. I just want to say man some good trainers out there i remember mine telling me if your on the merge/off ramp and match speeds with someone on the interstates slow down prepair because odds are they missed the turn. if werent for those words i fear the outcome of that. Stay safe guys

Hi. I've driven for 9 years, but always wondered what the advantages are of having a tall stick shifter. Never drove one before. Mostly 18 speed Eaton trans with the stock stick. From the outside looking in, I always thought the super tall stick looks silly, so I imagine there has to be a benefit I don't see. Because it certainly doesn't look cool. ;) imo anyways. Really nice truck though. Looks comfy to drive. Keep up the hard work, man!

@UTubeJunky Contrary to a lot of beliefs, it's 10 times more comfortable with the extended shift. It's much easier and smoother to shift. The gears are closer.

@@presy_jay I always wondered. Thanks for confirming some reasons I speculated on. During my last job my wrist began to show symptoms of carpal tunnel. Hurt to do push-ups or anything related to my right wrist. This started happening after I got a brand new Kenworth 880. 2023 model. The transmission is so tight that it started to mess my wrist up. I did a lot of city driving (delivering fuel to local gas stations in fuel tankers) which makes it worse because of the additional repetitiveness of shifting. I could see having an extended shifter relieving some the stress on my wrist. Stay safe out there!
