I think Emily’s “Indian girl” outfit is indicative of how hard she was trying to be what she thought was a good, normal, straight girlfriend. It’s a weird couples costume and definitely not something she would do on her own, and I think that’s the point: that girl was not being herself.

3:48 I loved this version of Aria with the pink hair. But in this episode Aria was hurting. She didn’t even care about the party anymore she wanted to cry at the movies. She only went to the party because Alison threatened to reveal her father cheating to the girls or even her mom. Aria most likely ran to grab a costume just to keep Alison quiet. She didn’t have time to make it unique she was depressed.

Even though they don't reference any specific film or franchise, they're so intricate and absolutely dazzling- a perfect showcase of what PLL's costume department is capable of when given adequate time and creative freedom. Also, seeing the gorgeous hand-drawn fashion sketches of the girls made me super happy as an artist ✨

About Alison outfit I kind of liked they played her Lady G outfit safe as the Actress was 14 years old and Alison was meant to be 14 so Kind of glad they didnt sexualize her too much where as Jenna actress was older and of age. you know I never realized Spencer got the History of Mary Queen of Scots Wrong. How did I miss that, Wow like as a Scottish person kind of offended now. Mary of Scotland competed with her 2nd Cousin Elizabeth the Queen of England as Mary had a Claim to the English Throne through her grandmother and Elizabeth claim was complicated. She never lost her thrown to her cousin she was overthrown by Scottish people who wanted her son raised Protestant and king of Scotland not Catholic Mary so she fled to England and was later Imprisoned by her cousin and later killed.

I always liked that you could see Aria's Daisy costume as also Zelda Fitzgerald's costume, since Ezra full last name is Fitzgerald and it lined up so well with their relationship, even the whole plot of Ezra tricking her to write a book about the girls and real Fitzgerald stealing parts from Zelda's diaries and letters for his books.

6:33 did anyone else find it weird that Spencer was running for student body president but in the run of the show she never acts like she is president. There was never any storylines or mention about it. Or was it only for the 1 year? I thought who ever won was president til they graduated. I never paid attention to student government so idk about this stuff. If anyone else does please let me know.

Emily was dresses like that in the first spetial cause at the time , in the Tumblr era, everything was Disney Live Action Dreamcast, OUAT edits with new characters (more Disney Live Action Dreamcast) and parales between Disney and everything , so for all of those , they Always use Emily and Vanessa Hudgens as Pocahontas. That is the reason Emma Watson became Belle in 2017

Sorry, but Spencer doesn't have on appropriate undergarments in her first costume that a Victorian style corset and not stays (which are shaped differently and laced in the front). She also needs a shift or at least a Cammy to avoid the boning to cut into her sides. I am not saying an amazing costume, but let's also call a duck a duck.
