Arcane Definity made me (and I think a lot of people) realise how much we've been robbed over the years with female characters. I cant even explain how much I love tis show. I am so done with the forced strong female characters for the sake of feminism in so many movies. Still rather have it than nothing, but oh my god the difference well written characters make! Love how this video put it into words <3

she living in dark forest with everyone has full of dream but never make it come true. and never try to visit the one who can make thier deam come true. (just said never go there. or its evil.) she going to the kingdom to make everyone's wish come true + travel to the kingdom for the first time in her life. // that start would 100% more dramatic if the story was build turm by turm. + also the villan... they could just give up on making him as villan and him being twisted villan who can become good guy that disney always do. bc... what he dose is make everyone's wish disapprear to make them happy. its evil stuff to do. but the motive cant be all selfish reason. bc.... why do so many stuff to complish that simple wish he has. he can just do any other magic to make ppl follow him. he could just use weapon to make ppl follow his order. but he choose to make that lie to make his ppl follow him. ( bit weak..) they need to add more eivil motivation to him. so his evil move make sence. or make him as villan who acutally belive what he dose is helping ppl. and better to make eveyone's wish disappear than make them suffer through wish that ppl can never complite.

i think they fight about its story or something... they should at least go with something they build at start. it has potencial to make it interesting, but they just fix it into nothing..

Notice how the diversity is not based on ethnicity, but in the depth of each character. When the origin is a factor, like Mel's Noxus background, is in refence on how does influence her conflict and development. Diversity of personality, expression, minds and paths, is how diversity should be celebrated.

For me Vi stands in the same league as Ellie (besides she killed like thousands of people and monsters but it's for the video game purpose) but in terms of realism Ellie is very similiar to Vi cause she was born in a corrupted world, forced to survive since the earliest days of her life, she has skills in using weapons because she has to and she's not irrationally overpowered and can be easily get killed by stronger ones like Abby. Also they give me very similiar vibes and I'm a fan of both of them :)

The camerawork on this movie really elevated it. The framing where she is off center outside the diner is so perfect and really shows how artistic they wanted it to be

As someone who loves the books, the movie gets Lara Jean and Peter right, but everything else is so off. They cut out a lot of characters and scenes that contribute to who Lara Jean is as a person and a lot of her growth. I put off reading the last book for awhile and ended up reading it during a stressful time of Law School applications for me. Her turmoil of applying to college and trying to decide where she wants her life to go and who she wants to set herself up to be was so realistic for me. The movies focused primarily on her love life so it isn't as prominent or impactful as it is in the books

I cant tell whether they added those references to save the movie or they added them as a fvck you kind of way…

The star was originally a star boy that she was supposed to fall in love with, but God forbid a main female character fall in love. Like this isn't feminism. No not all female characters have to fall in love with a guy but love is a natural stage that most HUMAN BEINGS go through. Why completely disregard that, in movies like Raya and Encanto it made sense that the main characters don't have love interests but here having an actual character that she gets involved with instead of a pet would bring more depth like her friends just diversity stand-ins so we go through the movie with just one main character and her with nothing but a star to go on this journey with her.

The reason Daenerys going mad didn't work is because the show abused time skips. The time between Missandei being killed and Daenerys burning Kings Landing is multiple months at least 4-5 however because of the show being limited in time it seems like it happens straight away. Daenerys' fall into madness just didn't have the time it should have because the show runners wanted to end the show as soon as possible because they had been hired to do a starwars film so they rushed game of thrones not caring how it ended as obvious by all the plot holes in the final season which led to it being trash which led to disney firing them from starwars and thus ruining their reputation and credibility.

Vi actually has pretty good guard coreography wise, she just loses patience and disregards the fundamentals often, which i love, cuz it puts her ''weak guard'' not as lack of skill, but as a personality trait

Maybe it was wanted to made the Wish World grey because it's a sad world under the corrupt King Magnifico. I not have see the Movie, but if the Colors return in the End of the Movie, then the gray Colors was wanted by the Creators. An happy and colorfull world like in Tangled would not fit the Setting, it's more like the final Battle in Beauty and the Beast.

They really made the females more badass than the male characters. The only male that actually puts up a good fight is Jayce and he needs a hammer to do so 😅 And Vander yeah sure he's badass but still gets his ass kicked by Vi and Jinx 😅

I'm not a fan of this sort of framing of the women in media arguments. It feeds into this mania going around that 'go woke go broke'... but 'arcane and things like it are different!' Wheras Arcane is the evidence proving that the go woke go broke crowd actually just have no real leg to stand on, and that they refuse to look into the REAL reason why so called 'woke' properties fail and go for a cheap and easy politically motivated paycheck. Arcane isn't 'new woke done right' stuff it isn't 'suddenly' a show with a lot of great female representation... it was all these things three years ago when it first dropped... and followed by many other great properties that have been well made with great female characters (Such as Blue-Eye Samurai) So I denounce this idea that Arcane is 'finally' doing girlbosses right... movies and shows have been doing that forever, only a recent political slander campaign has made us thing otherwise, and every time they have to go 'oh but not this one, this one doesn't count' they look more and more ridiculous. The major irritating thing here, is that we don't even BOTHER doing this with male heroes... despite them all suffering essentially the same god damn common writing hang-ups and tropes.
