FIRST! I think key for many people is having realistic goals as i see so many on the Instagram culture of "pushing" to unrealistic goals and then breaking themselves. Some sadly breaking for long term and never come back.

😂Hmmm maybe the timing of this video is a sign Brodie, with the Paris marathon tomorrow !! Originally I had trained to break 4h and get a PB but 3 weeks ago I got quite strong Achilles pain in the left foot. Of course I diligently followed all your advice AND the last 6 days I've run 100km pain free with it well taped up, though I certainly feel it if I push on or massage the Achilles. I had decided to run but to just go nice n' easy and enjoy myself, BUT you of all people just KNOW I will probably not be able to resist and end up pushing it tomorrow if I feel good!!! Shit!!! Now your video is really making me rethink!! 🤦🏻‍♀🤔🤷🏻‍♀ 'Cause of course I've got even bigger plans for the rest of the year to think about too!! 💪🏻🏃🏻‍♀💪🏻

@@RunSmarterwithBrodieSharpe THANKS so much Brodie... another PB!!!! 😃😁😆 A 5min marathon PB and a 29min course PB!!! Unfortunately the Archilles flared up at only the 3km mark so I ran the entire thing in pain... a story I'm sure you hear regularly!!🤷🏻‍♀🤷🏻‍♀ Voilá!! For a while running, I even thought of you tsk tsking at me!😂 Obviously it's quite sore today but certainly better than yesterday after the marathon at least!
