There's an old saying that prevention is better than cure and at Scissorhands, we very much believe that, and that's why we try and help hairdressers from day one to understand that when you use the right equipment, you can prevent those future problems.
Remembering that over three quarters of all stylists over the age of 35 have already, or can potentially, suffer with long-term aches, pains, or even injuries related to using the wrong equipment. That's why you'll notice we don't sell the traditional straight-hand scissor, because it does nothing for your posture, does nothing to prevent any wear and tear on you, the stylist.
That's why at Scissorhands, we only sell the offset handles, or the rotating and revolving thumb hand scissors. Because preventing the problems in the first place, we believe is much better than having to come up with a cure in the long run.
