Pride of 23 Lions and plains game animals drinking at Nsemani Dam in Kruger National Park
Nsemani Dam is a waterhole close to Satara Camp in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
This video shows an amazing sighting of 23 Lions around the waterhole and some other animals drinking around the waterhole.
This shows the cute young cubs females and two large males of the pride video were taken on the 16th of September 2018 by Bernhard Bekker of Private Kruger Safaris.
This was part of a private photographic safari with two guests for 7 nights and 8 days staying in the Kruger Park main camps.
When the water dries up in the African bush waterholes are the place to be for the best action for wildlife photography.

It is so sad that the owner(s) of the lodge are so ignorance of the plight of these beautiful animals. The waterhole is drying up very fast and yet the owner(s) of the lodge are so oblivious to the plight of these animals. They (the owners) don't seem to care about these animals dying of thirsty or diseases. If you look carefully, there is hardly any water in the dam for these animals to get a descent drink. All there is just a soup of mud or a disease carrying soup of mud. As the waterhole is drying up and more and more animals are congregating around the waterhole, you know that all kinds of diseases are going to flare up and transmitting to other animals and eventually the whole herds of animals are going to perish, or if they're lucky, they will experience a reduction in animal population -- and both cases are not something that the owners of the lodge should want to happen. That is sure something unfortunate going to happen, but also can be avoided by human intervention by supplying adequate water resources. All they have to do is just take a garden hose, hook it up to the water dispenser from the lodge, the same water dispenser used in watering the garden/yard, and put it far enough and close enough to the edge of the dam and turn on the water dispenser to let the water flow into the waterhole so that these animals can at least have a descent water to drink. Where is the compassion from the owners of the lodge? Where is the decency of the owners of the lodge? Why are they so oblivious to the plight of these wonderful animals?
