Just wanted to say thanks for the content. Cliche aside it has been life-changing. To those reading this hop over and pick-up the Playbook App and follow Kellen. The workouts are fantastic.
@heidizee51444 жыл бұрын
I second this advice; I've been following Kellen on the Playbook app and it is by far the best money I've ever spent on my movement/fitness routine. It is also the least expensive. Kellen's programs are stellar; I've gotten great results from his Pure Strength program, and also regularly rotate in several of the other programs on his Playbook site. Get ready to transform your body and your mind; work becomes play with Kellen!

Thank you, this was amazing! I couldn't do everything because I had a baby 8 months ago and am still healing a prolapse, but this in combination to all the cues my pelvic floor physiotherapist has given me, was what felt like my first effective, complete, SAFE, yet challenging core workout since having the baby. Felt soooooo good!!!!

What else do you do for strength and conditioning work? Are you a bjj practitioner? I feel like your workouts can be done on off days from bjj and be totally fine and injury free. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks bro keep up the good work.

Thanks man. I come from a school of thought that centers natural human movement. Personally, I'm big into play & sustainability, but I encourage everyone to build their practice around their own values. Hit me on IG if you have more questions: instagram.com/movement.parallels.life/

Kellen, love your workouts. Appreciate all of the effort and quality. One cue I caught, early in the supine sequence, advised to press the lower back to the floor. Are you familiar with the work of Dr. Stuart McGill? His work, and extensive research, which I adhere to as a PT, finds that it may be best to preserve the lumbar spine in neutral as opposed to flexing the spine during movements. I simply wanted to throw that your way and allow you to metabolize that nugget as you please. As alway, thank you for artistry. Thank you for the opportunity to be a perpetual student...Much peace to you...Anthony

Question: are these workouts in addition to a regular workout routine or can take place of? I usually do strength training but know I need a stronger core and mobility. Im not looking to lose weight, but to strengthen and tone.

do you fully extend your elbows or stop extensions just before they lock? (when i do those exercises, my lbows hurt,geting all my body weight on them)
@StrengthFlowFitness4 жыл бұрын
Listen to your body and modify accordingly. Everyone has a different situation and history so you have to be patience while you figure out what works best for your body. For example, those with hyper-mobile joints may need to keep a slight bend. Now, for me, "locked out" arms means fully extended and externally rotated with all the supporting musculature (hands, biceps, triceps, lats, core) engaged to create stability around the joints. Passively resting your weight on your joints is generally not a good look. Structural integrity + muscular activation is the key.
