Love it, I'm 55+ years old and I must say, this kind of training is like an epiphany. I use it as basis to improve my strength and flexibility to play competitive tennis and to protect myself from injuries. Thank you so much for teaching this kind of movement.

Man, I just finished an intense hour kickboxing class and I cannot wait to do this tomorrow first thing. I can’t say enough good things about this channel man. It’s really, really helpful for me. I used to do yoga (which is good, too) but channel has opened my eyes (and my body) to new movement and possibilities. Hooked! 🔥🔥❤️

You are awesome! And just like Frieda said, I'm using this to re-member my body and I'm finding it so helpful in most areas of my life (particularly because my job is about sitting still). I'm wondering if you would be up for making a way slowed down video like this - where the movements are really slow and steady so that we could land deeper in the movement understanding how to adapt it for our own bodies. Thank you - this really has been a game changer for me and building strength/flexibility in a much more playful and dynamic way than I've learned - reminding me to engage my body as its animal self. Appreciate you!
@StrengthFlowFitness Жыл бұрын
I will keep it in mind. However, it's not necessary to keep pace with me. Even a slower video will still draw your focus somewhat externally. The best way to progress is a consistent combination of guided practice and independent work. Take one piece of movement and work with it on your own - there's really no substitute for this. When questions arise, I am always accessible on Instagram / email. If you enjoy the channel, please consider supporting either my Playbook app or On-demand Collection. Thank you.

Love this workout. Quite intense! As someone who successfully got himself a shoulder tendonitis by working out the front chain too much, without balancing with enough "back chain work", I have to ask you this: how do you balance this 2 aspect of your practice? I feel there's a lot of front chain work in this ground movements and I'm kinda afraid I would take myself back into the injury road... Thank you in advance for any suggestion and for all your videos! Keep up the good work :)

Great question. I create these free videos to be accessible to as many people as possible. Anyone can jump into them right from home with no equipment. From experience, I know that certain elements of the practice don't translate well for my KZbin audience. Here's an older video on hanging that didn't do well in views but might be helpful for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpPRaWB7oLCSeMk I have also launched a training app to provide in-depth videos and full programming for people who are ready to explore Natural Movement to the fullest. Hey Kellen. Which of your videos would be best for making the back muscles more loose? Often when I work out that's the tightest part of my body. Thanks for the videos, they're very helpful and informative.
@StrengthFlowFitness5 жыл бұрын
Daily rocking, rolling, and spinal waves might be helpful to disperse the excess tension and reset. Doesn't need to be complex but does require some mindfulness as you modify your daily movement habits. There's no specific routine or quick fix...its more about resetting and reeducation. Thanks for watching and best wishes!
