I've been caring for kids since my first babysitting job at the age of 11. I never would have harmed that child, or any other child in my care. And my eldest child has been very challenging. It got to the point where we called child services for help and then took parenting classes to learn how to better parent for his behavior issues. An adult steps up to the plate when it comes to caring for kids. And if you can't do it, don't take on a babysitting job.
