My husband has been with prime TNT for almost 3 months now. 1500 TNT miles left to do. He hasn't taken any home time. He missed our sons 3rd bday, my sons t ball games and daughters ballet . And I'm due with our 4th child in july. So he is definitely trying to get it done before then so he can be home. It definitely has been hard but I'm glad he is almost done and he can be on his own soon. And it wont take 3 months to see him again. He is the only source of income and That 900 pay has been hard but with the right budget we have been making it work but ofcourse its supper tight budget. Hoping it will all pay off in the long run. Cuddos to your wife. As a wife, and mother myself its hard for our husband to be gone, but we know the sacrifice yall make to provide. Good luck to you and your wife!! Get those miles done. 💪

Completely agree. It’s been very very hard to try and pay bills and stay out on the road so I can provide for my little family. My wife has been amazing throughout the whole thing and as you can tell, she’s a bit frustrated with it all.

@@nobull4414 no, 900 guaranteed before taxes. It’s roughly 1200 to the trainer from what I heard but I can’t confirm. I know it’s different from student to student.

I was paying $1500 a week to my trainee he was bringing home little over 850-900 a week after his taxes. We see all your stuff cause we are paying you. I’m a trainer how I know. Got him to his 30k then kicked him off took 2 months which is crazy because it took me 6 weeks to do my 30k back then but running 5k a week easy shit is slow & the pay is shit for trainers why all the good vets are not training right now.

Just hang in there man I promise once u get ur own truck it will be worth it and also don’t expect to go in to upgrade right when u hit ur 50000 miles I had to wait for a month

Thank you! yeah, once I get to that point, I think I’ll be less stressed out. For now, it’s just a grind for the last 15k

@@EKMTransport I was worried I would go the whole 50 and then when I waiting for a spot or on my way to terminal I was scared to get a critical lol and add another 10000 miles that would have sucked
@cajuncoupletrucking3563 Жыл бұрын
No you can do something about it. Like I have told you from the beginning and have seen many other comments telling you to call your fleet manager and tell them I do not want to go home. They will get you another trainer. Tell them I do not want to go home and they will put you in a hotel or back at a terminal and still pay you while you wait.
@EKMTransport Жыл бұрын
Lol I actually did that. I sent a message and when I didn’t hear back I called and the “message would be forwarded” but it doesn’t matter now.

@@EKMTransport If he goes home again it will matter. Stay safe my man. Just hate you are still in tnt. I started psd on March 21st and already on my third week in my own lease truck.

@@cajuncoupletrucking3563 my wife said the same thing. Now you see what I’m saying.. I started tnt BEFORE you started psd.. that’s how long I’ve been trying to get done..

Prime is One of the best company out there. And the only company where u could raise your pay . By going lease out of training. Most companies u have to have a year exp before you get to lease.
