Just hit 5k miles TNT. Love your vids been informative and cool seeing your TNT journey. Also your perspective on lease. I'm 99% sure I'm going company just because I'm a rookie and figure its safe to figure the job out before considering lease, but the more I look into it the more intriguing it is. My PSD was company and my TNT is lease. Both been so a decade or more. They both of course have their opinions. But when my TNT said "I'd be scared to go company right now" I thought it was funny since that's what everyone says about lease lol Thanks again and good luck!

I appreciate you watching and commenting! Don’t worry, you feel like that right now but i promise you will get more and more comfortable and at some point you’ll look back and laugh. Just keep focusing on knocking those miles out, one load at a time!

There's no limit for upgrade rooms at Campus Inn... Congrats🙂

Do you get paid during this upgrade period
@melmen237911 ай бұрын
So this upgrade process takes place after TNT?
@EKMTransport11 ай бұрын
Yes. You have to complete all 50k miles before you are routed in to begin the upgrade process. You’ll do two days of classes and then wait for the call to look at a truck.
@melmen237911 ай бұрын
@@EKMTransport oh ok. Some of the classes are repeats right? You drive the simulator again I know
@EKMTransport11 ай бұрын
@@melmen2379 so, you’ll have to do logs class if you haven’t. That’s a real snooze fest but she does tell you how to manage your clock. You’ll do a safety class which is where you’ll do the alley dock and a few other scenarios. Pretty easy. There’s also a finance class with abacus and another where she talks about settlements.. assuming you’re doing lease. Then you’ll do pro maintenance which is like.. preventative maintenance and has really good info on being able to fix things yourself. After that, you’ll send an email letting them know you’re done and you’ll be put on the list to look at a truck. Again, all assuming you’re lease. If you’re company, some classes you won’t do and you’ll be assigned a truck.

@@EKMTransport no I won't be leasing. Company only. Thanks for the info.

Leasing in this market is sucide

@@EKMTransport Two Prime lease drivers have posted their numbers. Can you not do math?
@EKMTransport11 ай бұрын
@@matt89108 so what? I met two people moving from lease to company because they didn’t understand the business side of things. They thought they could put their foot to the floor, get loads and that’s it. That isn’t the case and for anyone to believe that’s all it takes, you will quickly find yourself in a hole you can’t dig out of.

@@EKMTransport $.65cpm net for a lease IS NOT GOOD, but it is the norm.
