Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says ‘biological sex matters’ amid Trans debate

PRIME Minister Rishi Sunak declared "biological sex really matters" as he blasted the unfairness of transgender athletes competing in women's sport.
After Nicola Sturgeon and Keir Starmer both tied themselves in knots over the definition of a woman, the PM insisted "of course, I know what a woman is, an adult human female."
Speaking to Piers Morgan on TalkTV, Mr Sunak hit out at the trans debate saying "it doesn't strike most people as being fair."
He added: "Whether it's sex, whether it's women's spaces, whether it's prisons, biological sex really matters.

That person should never have been allowed to transition. I believe that there are people who truly need gender reassignment, but I think that we have become a little too loose with who we allow to do it and who we don't allow to do it. Certainly people who are committing violent criminal acts or who have psychiatric issues should not be permitted to do it. Psychiatric cases might be allowed to do it later if they become psychologically stable, but anyone who is out of touch with reality should be automatically disallowed.

@@B.D.E. It used to be that you needed a licenced and certified PhD clinical psychologist with a specialty in gender issues and a psychiatrist to sign off on it. People who were wanting to do it for the wrong reasons, or who had underlying mental illness, or for any other reason would have it counter indicated would be rejected. For those who had form of mental illness which could be permanently overcome could be re-evaluated once those issues had been addressed. If you felt that the psych team you were working with was wrong in their assessment, you could always get another team. Having gender reassignment is a very serious thing, and there are parts of it which are not reversible, and we must be absolutely sure that we are doing the right thing for the person when we approve surgery. To be sure, I am not anti-trans. I'm also not anti-trans at a young age, and I support delaying puberty if it is indicated. I am strongly against disallowing it on religious grounds. I also believe that parents who refuse to address it are committing child abuse. I realize that this will not play well in certain quarters, especially with religious organizations, but religious groups should not be allowed to tell the rest of us how to live their lives. It is none of their business, just as it is none of our business to tell them what to believe or what not to believe. The decision to allow a change of gender should also not be decided by just any counsellor though, such as social workers and lower level psychologists with no specialization should be allowed to make the decision. They simply are not qualified, and more harm can be done without the specialization needed.

For years...decades...woman have been silent, no more. I want single use locker rooms and batrooms. Truth is for decades, woman have shared locker rooms with gay woman. To me that is the same as sharing with a hetero male without the genitals. I don't want them handing out towels in the shower. Now...I also do not want to shower with women with a penis. We have now come to a place where communal showers/locker rooms and bathrooms need to go away and we need safe, secure single use facilities

1. Transwomen are 'demolishing' nobody is women's sports. 2. Transmen exist. Transmen full of testosterone and who _do_ think like men. 3. Biologically, if you're on HRT, you are biologically the gender you're transitioning to. Cellular biology also matters. There's a reason trans people go through 'second puberty' and grow facial and body hair, more masculine bone structures and density and lose breast tissue,while others grow breasts, gain softer skin have drastically reduced body hair, muscle mass disappears and have reduced bone density. Someone whose parents were chemists either doesn't know this or is ignoring it. 4. These men are judging transwomen based on their own perverted inclinations towards women. The issue is that transwomen are women. They think, feel and act female in a naturistic way. They're not interested in perving on other women any more than any cis woman is. It also can't be true that transwomen are simultaneously perving on other women whilst trying to 'trick' men into sleeping with them. Transwomen tend to have less libido than cis women, partly due to the effects of HRT.
