You are blessed to have had your dad with you all these years. My dad passed away when I was 9. Now I'm 56 and still miss him (and my mom who passed away 30 years after him). I often wonder how life would have been with him by our side when I grew up.

I lost my Dad suddenly when I was 16. I often wonder the same. I miss him as much today as the day he died
@royordway91573 жыл бұрын
I feel the same way as you do PA. My dad died in 1964 at age 51, I was 7. My mom died in 1970, age 53, I was 13. I'm 65 and not a day goes by I don't think of them and wonder if they'd be proud of me and my decisions in my life.
@JohnHallgren3 жыл бұрын
I can certainly relate to your situation. I lost my dad when I was age 8, from ALS, and have no memories of him whatsoever. I lost my mom from a possible heart attack sitting across the table from me when I was age 46. Now in my mid-60s, and I’m now only one left in the family.
@MikeT-TheRetiredColonel3 жыл бұрын
I'm with you on that, mine passed when I was 5, I'm also 56 and luckily Mom is still chugging along at 84. And, yeah, I still miss my Dad as well, even though I really did not get the chance to know him. You're a strong man, Ron, and seemingly strong with your faith. It'll take time, even though you might not think so now, you got this.

I'm so sorry Ron to hear about your Dad passing away, it's been awhile since I had not watched your videos with so many things I had been going through myself, I too lost 2 people in my life, one of my old girlfriend had past away from a massive heart attack at the age of 55 back in May of this year, 2021 and 4 months later I lost one of my aunt at the age of 83, she had woken up one morning feeling fine but after about a couple of hours that morning she started to feel the worse pain in her chest cavity that was getting worsen and by the time we called 911 for the Paramedic to come out, she was already dead. I know it's hard to lose a loved ones and a close friend, my old girlfriend passing away truly hit me the hardest and still today I can't believe she's gone, I still cared about her even as friends. I'll be saying a prayer for you and your family Ron.

May god bless you and your family and always know that your dad will forever be watching over you and your family until you meet again in heaven! I have found comfort in your videos in my time of loss and hurt with losing my dad. I have always felt a since of family and friendship in your videos and that is a comforting thing to see and feel while going what you and I, and I am sure many others are or have gone through. Thank You!

Ron - You know your equipment and principles of leverage and angles so well that it is always amazing to watch you do your stuff. To top things off your interaction with clients and emergency/law enforcement is just as amazing. Everybody has respect for you and the decisions you make on the job. It is so refreshing to watch someone who believes in excellence on the job. I don't have to say this but I will, I miss your father and your family remains in my prayers. The pain never goes away, just easier to cope with. Hold on to your blessed memories you had with your father, and know he is always with each and every one of your family.
