Back when I was a younger, usually a show I liked never got the proper conclusion it deserved, but as I got older, I'm happy to say that's not the case these days and this being one of the best examples of a show ending on an emotionally satisfying conclusion. Transformers Prime to me was, is and always will be the best show in the franchise & has never been topped & I don't think ever will.

Contrary to what fans say, Megatron did not become Galvatron. A Galvatron already existed in the Prime Universe, so Megatron was upgraded into "Megatron 2.0". The idea of Megatron and Galvatron existing as separate beings isn't unheard of, in the 2005 IDW Universe, Galvatron is an ancient cybertronian barbarian and the twin brother of Arcee.

while I think RID is a bit of a step-down from Prime, I say give it a shot, maybe you'll enjoy it more, as for Earthspark, I think you will find certain aspects of the setup that will risk short-circuiting your mind in a good way (I know it did to me), so expect several surprises that will shake the status-quo with that show as for the immobiliser scenes here, you kind-of got them in reverse, Bumblebee used a piece or random debris to bluff Predaking into hearing them out instead of attacking them at once, hence why he threw it away as they left, whereas he bluffed Starscream (who was holding the real immobiliser), claiming it to be a fake, so he hesitate a moment to give Bumblebee the chance to wrestle for it, so Knockout really broke the actual immobiliser. Hope that made sense in writing

I stand by this to the day that I die but Optimus prime is the greatest character in all of fiction I recommend you go into robots in disguise with an open mind, despite the hate it gets it is actually really good. But its biggest problem is its considered a sequel to prime, but its still good and has many returning characters from transformers prime both good and bad and actually has a few really sick new villains and their is like 100 times more characters in RID than prime. It's 100% worth checking out just don't expect it to be as good as prime.

What I love about this series is, everytime Megatron lost, it was through deception. He died at the hands of bumblebee because he was technically stabbed in the back (yes it was in chest but it wasn't honorable) then in this, unicron/megs lost through the deception of allspark. I like the fact that Megatron turned good. Here’s some context on where exactly Megatron went after this movie (he didn’t appear in RID but was supposed to. The creator mentioned everything I’m about to say as things Megatron would have been doing between this movies end and his scrapped meetup with the auto bots). After this, Megatron roamed the universe as a protector. He retained the dark energon powers from Unicron inhabiting his body and used them to fight evil across the universe. He became a savior in many worlds. He did everything he could to try and make up for the things he did and his appearance in RID was supposed to be a culmination of that character development (again, it was scrapped, although I don’t think this part about him roaming the universe was ever scrapped so this is probably still canon).

30:16, Ok... I'm not going to say anything specific but I do recommend you not watch that series if you haven't started already. Yes, RiD was advertised as a sequel to Prime, but as you will quickly discover, it is a massive departure from what Prime was and they retconned a lot of key elements from the not just the Prime cartoon but everything in the shared continuity. Plot points get dropped completely, characters that are canonically dead show up with no explanation, characters that are canonically autobot/decepticon are now part of the opposite side with no explanation, and so on.

I dont know if you ever thought about this, but TF Prime also concides with the align continuity that goes of simultaneously with the comics. You must have known about the 13 Og Primes. The thing is, no one knows the 13th prime. The lore about him is that he was a Prime without any special powers, unlike others, but had deep sense of morality and is known as the visionary of the primes who kept them united and justified. Only after the inside disputes of the primes tore them apart, he wished to Primus to be born again as a simpleton, therefore losing his memory of his past life and was born again as Orion Pax. After him several other transformers took the mantle of Prime, but it is said that Optimus was the original Prime while all others were lost to time. Hemce he is known as the 13th prime. And it is beautiful how the most justified and purest of them all sacrificed his life again so that the planet can once again grow new life, in the wake of a new transformation. The parallels of the movie having an army raised from the dead and the end of the first arc, Darkness Rising, doing the exact same thing is just sweet, sweet perfection ❤ Also, there is a deleted scene from S3 E13 when Bumblebee kills Megatron, where after he stabs him, he shoves the Star Saber even DEEPER into his chest and when Megatron dies, he slides off of it so much more slowly. They chopped up the scene probably to keep the runtime of the episode in line, but the full version of Megatron's death is just so brutal 😂. Check it out if you have the chance! Transformers Prime is my all time favorite series and I loved watching every episode. the one thing that I really love about this series is the way that the Cybertronians are written..they aren't portrayed as two complete rivals, but rather the same species just two different sides with a common goal to return home. and even when the slightest opportunity presents itself, the Decepticons and Autobots help each other, like when Breakdown helped Bulkhead against Cilas and when Dreadwing returned the forge to the Autobots even though he wasn't on their side, especially when Optimus Prime stated that every being has the capacity to change, especially when Knockout became an Autobot and when Megatron no longer had the desire for oppression (in the first season when Optimus mentioned that he wanted to change his mind not extinguish his spark) . It goes to show that the Decepticons deep down still have some level of respect for the Autobots

What a great ending to a great series! While you should definitely check out animated (I’ve heard it’s pretty good), before that you should definitely watch the TRANSFOMERS CYBERTRON ‘movie’ on KZbin. It’s basically a compilation on cutscenes and story moments from the games War For Cybertron and Fall Of Cybertron, which are set as the events on Cybertron which eventually lead up to the events in this show, Transfomers Prime. Only thing to note is that you should stop the video after the screen goes black at around 1:04:30, because after that the video starts showing footage from Rise Of The Dark Spark, a game so bad the developers didn’t even realise that the games before it were in the Transfomers Prime universe, NOT THE MICHAEL BAY MOVIES. So yeah, it’s a great watch that I’d definitely recommend but just remember to stop the video around that mark to avoid the ensuing (not cannon) garbage fest.

I believe there was artwork depicting them as young adults, so I'd say a decade has passed since Predacons Rising and the beginning of RiD. Plus it is a general consensus that while Prime is better than RiD, on its own, RiD is a fairly good show. Not as ambitious, but enjoyable!

I was a little skeptical when I knew there was a movie. I mean, the series ended in such a great way. But damn, this movie is so amazing and had an even better ending tying up all loose ends. My favorite part is the way Megatron ended. I could never imagine a reason why Megatron would stop wanting to conquer Cybertron, and when they came up with the “no longer wishing to inflict oppression because he suffered from it himself” reason, I thought it was absolutely perfect. I doubt they will ever come up with a better iteration of Transformers honestly. TFP was just closest to perfect we’ll ever get.

I definitely feel like they should have set up the whole allspark trap thing and that the matrix can hold the all spark, the climax felt similar to megatrons death in the 2007 movie, anticlimactic. Also the fact that we never got to see Airachnid and her army finish their story, and shockwave is kinda just ‘there’ at the end, yeah, it’s not perfect. But wirh all the background problems (there were a tonne), budget issues and studio interference I think Predacons Rising is a well intentioned satfisting end to the Transfomers Prime Universe. In my opinion if you want to see more out of the Prime continuinity watch the story from Fall Of Cybertron and War For Cybertron, they do a great deal of worldbuilding and adding to the plot while I find RID actually takes away some of the moments from prime, which is all I’ll say for my opinion regarding that show. I left another comment about the story for WFC and FOC but to summarise the video TRANSFORMERS CYBERTRON movie is probably the best way to watch the story from those games up until the 1:04:30 mark when the video goes into uncannon stuff. Loved the journey watching this show with you Anriku (sorry I still don’t know what to call you so I just used your twitch name) and I can’t wait to see another TF series on the channel!

I really wanna see u react to robots in disguise. For one it’s a continuation to prime and it may not be as good but I think it’s very underrated as well since it has 3 full seasons and a mini season

Willing to bet you will continue with Animated! That show is great! Robots in Disguise is alright... It does have a few good moments. Can't speak for Earth Spark... haven't seen that one yet...

RID is not a continuation of Prime. It’s only rumoured to be. Or it was supposed to be, but it is not actually a continuation
