I never thought Antony Starr could surpass his own charisma and cruelty as Homelander. But he comes up with a new masterpiece every time. In this episode, he went off the rails!!! If he doesn't deserve an Emmy, idk who would. He's a SENSATION!

I honestly think when he keeps referring to himself as Homelander it has multiple layers. He’s doing it as a way to detach himself from his humanity and also doing it because to him the scientist believed he was a test subject for Vought.

Man Anthony Star knocked it out of the park here. I really wished they edited this scene differently. It’s the most interesting scene of the season but when it only delivers a few minutes at a time the tension deflates. I think this would have been an iconic scene if they had made the last 10 minutes of the episode stay on this sequence from when Homelander arrives to when he leaves. Let the tension stew like Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul

It’s crazy when you realize Father and Son was being tortured and experimented on at the same time. Homelander with Vought and Soldier Boy with the Russians. Poor Ryan has it cut out for him in the mental health department. Hopefully he’ll be able to finally break the cycle.

I think Frank really choose the worst words he had to offer with saying "I was just doing my job" I dont think Homelander would have let him go if he apologized from the start, but I believe he would have just lasered him which would have been a mercy compared to him getting burned alive.
