Your exploration of primitive cooking, preparing fish and venison over an open fire, is deeply engaging. Your respect for traditional methods and the natural environment shines through each meticulous preparation, creating a truly authentic and enriching experience for viewers. We were up in Nadine one time...bunch of guys were in from north Bay...they weren't getting anything. We came up from the Nipissing and nailed 6 specs in six passes off the first point...guys came out to see what we were doing. Bottom walker with 6-7 feet of mono behind and a chartreuse jointed floating rapala...we gave them bottom walkers and Rapalas...lost buddy in a motorcycle accident... RIP Brad... aka McGivore...farm boy...up in Dumoines he fixed two fridges and a stove in under ten minutes and a giant Caesar. Cheers 🍻

Good memories. Sad memories. That sounds like a killer rig for a lake without too many sticks on bottom!
@jordansmith8348
@jordansmith8348 6 ай бұрын
@@OneWildcrafter it's all good memories now...yeah...it was a great rig to stir the bottom or match the hatch...or match the minor predators of the hatch...every pass... there's a lake in the park Calumet...near Catfish...water level was such you can only get in for a few weeks in the spring...deadly...we used lead core with that rig so we always hung in around 30ft...one of the sites in Calumet has a wood stove...only fisherman are that crazy to haul a 200 lb stove through the bush to set up their "living room" for a week...the brotherhood 🍻

Hey hey Holden(hope I spelled your name right sir please correct me if I didn't). I was hoping to see you join these outings with Jeremy and your Pop! One thing I think could make things more fun for you is to get a trusted friend your age to join on these adventures. It's good to have Elder experience and wisdom but it's just as important to have a mutual friend your age to relate too. Who knows ya'll could spin off your own YT series!

My Dad suggested this, and I might. But I really didn't mind hanging out with Jeremy and my Dad. I don't know if any of my friends would be interested :(

@@HoldenAnton Yeah the whole thing of being outdoors with all those biting insects and limited bathing privacy can turn many people away from enjoying nature. That incident with Chris cussing like sailor at the Garter Snake in the canoe was hilarious. You should edit a short of that event bet it would get a lot of views especially with Jeremy's calm reaction! Reminded me of funny outdoor moments with friends when I was younger!

Looks like a great time out there😁 I don't think your affiliate links for the EcoFlow are sending over your referral ID. When I look at the links, then end part, including the question mark, are not part of the hyperlink. See what you can do to get that to show correctly in the description. Maybe put a slash "/" at the end.

Thanks! I'll see if I can fix it up. I lost contact with my original sponsor at Ecoflow and haven't been able to reconnect with the company. A shame, because I use my Ecoflow Delta constantly and I think other folks would get as much good use out of it as I do.

@@OneWildcrafter that's crazy that they did not pass you off to someone else to take care of the relationship with you. I think these things can be of great use! I'm not quite there with needing one yet, but I've been slowly creeping up to the point where one will become necessary for me. It's always good to know which ones have been truly tested and used by others.

Nice, you brought the fish jig/spear Plus, you brought the bags of rice and ... The first aid kit Poke the fish, not your finger I wanna keep it please. I'm not gonna use my first aid kit. I'm gonna grab some of the dirty old tree is sticking on my finger and it's gonna sting. A lot of fun thanks

I seriously would not mind Chris saying in a video hey if you love this channel please go give my buddy Jeremy a sub. Which I know he has in different ways but let's be more direct. 1.5 million subs even if you got 300k of them you'd be doing better. Sorry it took me so long to sub to you. Maybe do some kind of contest/giveaway type idea even for new subs. I've always loved videos with you and Chris.
