The Queen stripped him of everything after the Virginia Guiffre claim, but that was a bit like closing the stable door after the horse had bolted. Unlike the other victims, Virginia Guiffre has never seemed credible to me. She may be considered under age in current times, but back then many people left school at the age of 16 and many women married at that age. Virginia had left home, was living independently of her parents in another country. She was working for Donald Trump before meeting Epstein. She would have been considered an adult back then. Initially, I believed that Prince Andrew was innocent. However, in that interview he appeared as guilty as sin. He also acknowledged that he remained friends with Epstein after he was found guilty of trafficking. He absolutely knew what Epstein was doing and it didn't bother him. He has two daughters. So does he think it's OK to abuse the daughters of the poor?

George III handed over the administration of The Crown Estate to the Treasury in exchange for a fixed annual income. Today the monarch receives only a percentage of the revenue generated by the Crown Estate - the balance remains in the Treasury and is used by the government. George IV (as Prince of Wales) kept personal control of the Duchy of Cornwall which is the arrangement we have today. So when you hear the word 'taxpayer' it's not actually true - it's the Treasury, having access to the revenue from the Crown Estate that funds the monarchy. It also provides the money for the upkeep of Crown Estate properties such as Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. No Crown Estate property (ie Royal Collections, State Regalia, historic carriages etc) is owned by the king.

I think the two daughters , if not as bad as their grifter parents, aren’t exactly angelic or kind women. They looked down on Catherine and were the moles in the Royal camp funneling information to the dastardly duo. They were taking their revenge on Charles for trimming the top heavy working royals tree and for pushing their dad out of glamorous public functions. Last year when their mother was allowed back in to the family Christmas service and the walkabout, we all saw how Fergie looked and behaved. It’s really curious how Charles has refused to take any strong deterrent action against either Andrew or Harry. Quite significant.

I am too busy to have strong feelings about the monarchy but I've always thought that once QE2 passed away the Republican movement would gain some traction in the UK and Commonwealth countries like Australia.
