Prince could write a great, romantic song. Like you said, he was so diverse. 💜💜💜

Glad to see a new Prince video reaction from you! This is actually one of maybe two Prince ballads in that vast catalog of his that I don't connect very closely with, though I still like it very much. The man could *SLAY* on a ballad, whether it was writing them, singing them, or playing instruments on them. And that stage presence was *chef's kiss* SO Prince LOL. Loved it. If you haven't already reacted to the following Prince songs (most are slow jams), I highly recommend you check them out at some point in the future: "Insatiable" (spicy-spicy!) "The One" "The Holy River" (Not a ballad. An introspective. Starts off soft.) "Somewhere Here On Earth" "Scandalous" "Adore" (The Black National Anthem of the late 1980s and 1990s. Find the full album version, around 6-7 min., as radio stations never played the edited down versions of this.) "Shhh" (album version or live performance, you can't go wrong) "The Dance" (two versions exist. Find the 3121 album version) All of the above have videos except "Adore," "Shhh" (video for live performance only), and "The Dance." "Adore" was a perennial favorite on Black radio for years. Folks from the 1990s may remember Tevin Cambell's cover of "Shhh" but Prince really turned that track out, especially in concerts. "The Dance" (3121 version) I just think is soooo sultry and relatable that I added it to the list. Of the songs listed above, "Scandalous" was the only one that was a mainstream hit, but "The One", if I recall, did get a very respectable amount of play on BET Video (Black Entertainment Television) when it came out and possibly got some play on radio. The above selection of songs range from 1989 - late 2000s. You can thank me later for recommending "Insatiable" LOL.

Older Prince is different from youngblood Prince - still amazing, just in a different phase when it comes to song writing, musicianship, and stage presence

Mainly becoming a Jehova’s Witness and having hip problems. Otherwise I still think he would’ve been wild in the 2000s

@@Kickinthescience Yeah but NO! Larry Graham tried to suck on his energy but you see how prince stopped effing with him.
