The regular version is dope coz he sings as though it was just a new memory. This one is slow n beautiful like a distant memory that brings back a good feeling.

I was fortunate to see him on this tour when he came to Memphis TN. Me and my girl went as a couple, but during the concert my voice went up a few octaves. I'm not sure what I became for those few hours but we both had the same experience and left happy is all I can say! Lol R.i.p. brother! 🙏🏿

I saw a similar performance by Prince in Columbus, Ohio on this tour. I have never seen an audience of men and women that all could have gotten off in the same fashion as this. You could have heard of pin drop. I have been to literally hundreds of live shows, and this still reigns supreme for me.

How great would it have been if he never changed a single thing about little red corvette and performed it the way people remembered it form the beginning. That’s what people want . They want to see what they watched on tv as kids. Not some modern bullshit version That ruins the song

I don't get it, this song was a fast-paced rocker of a song back in the 80's. By 2004, Prince had already turned it into a slow paced and boring song (this video). This is not the same Prince we all used to know. In any event, RIP Mr Prince, you left us too soon.
@michaelone9475 Жыл бұрын
You said it. You don’t ‘get it’ Prince isn’t monotone. He’s a fine wine and has multiple notes with it. There’s nothing ‘boring’ about this performance. What is ‘boring’ is doing the same thing the same way every time you do it. Prince doesn’t do boring; that’s never been what he’s about
@mikegallant50185 ай бұрын
He has written some great songs but overall I find him to be largely overrated.
