Prince's Purple Piano - Behind the Scenes

In 2016, Yamaha Entertainment Group partnered with Prince for his Piano and A Microphone Tour. After months of finding the perfect color, we painted the custom Purple Piano in St. Petersburg, FL and sent it to Nashville, TN to film the concert opening video for the tour. Once filming wrapped, the piano went on it's journey to Prince's home and studio in Paisley Park where it remains today in his museum. We hope you enjoy the journey of Prince's Purple Piano.
