Hi everybody! Thank you for tuning in, please remember to sub the page! I'm so close to 500 now. Also I've done a reaction to the full album Purple Rain and it has been blocked 🚫 how can I overcome this as the person who uploaded the album has managed to bypass being blocked. Answers on a postcard. Thanks again.

I’ve seen other posters put a link to their reaction on Google docs in the description. Then let us know on the KZbin video if it’s blocked.

Some reactors either make the copyrighted video somewhat transparent or they put words over it and that usually works.

I have been following Prince since his first album For You that came out in 1979. I absolutely love to see young people carrying on his legacy. Please react to Sexy Dancer. There's no video. It's audio only. But he plays all the instruments, does all the vocals including all the different background vocals. Worked the boards. EVERYTHING!. By the way they found over 8000 songs in the vault. Some completed some not.

The video where he jumps on the drums is either “America” (the official live video) or “It’s gonna be a beautiful night”. Both deserve to be checked out! Incredible performances!!

the first pop hit to mention hiv, in france a skinny man died of a big disease with a little name by chance his girlfriend came across a needle and soon she did the same. written and recorded July 15, 1986 after reading the newspaper. Kat the dancer is in her 50s now and she cant stop talking about her time with him. Prince was very religous.

You can never see too much of Prince...he was the most electrifying performer on the planet. Experiencing Prince live was like going to church, leaving you with this unexplainable feeling that feeds your soul till the next time. Prince was like this spiritual religion of his own. I really miss getting my live musical medicine fix. World is not the same since his transition.

Jheez, honestly the amount of people in the comments section of my Prince reactions that have seen him 20, 30 or even 40 times like yourself is insane. I can fully see why you would though

This is a great performance by Prince. You should watch "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" from this same concert film. He plays the drums and kills it. It is crazy how many unreleased songs Prince has. Prince said in an interview in the 90's that there were over 1,000 unreleased songs. And that was 20 years before he unfortunately passed away. I can only imagine how many there are in there now. He also said in another interview that he actually had two separate vaults filled with music because he ran out of room in the first one. That is incredible! Great reaction!

This concert video was my first voyage into Prince as a teenager. I would go back to my mates house at school lunchtimes and we would watch it over and over. I was mesmerised. I saw this very video before I’d ever listened to any of his albums. You brought back some very fond memories, so thank you. 42 studio albums (and many, many bootlegs) later I still get goosebumps watching this. Peace

I’m really enjoying your reactions. You’re hilarious. One video you said someone got mad that you paused the video at the best part, and you said something like, “sorry, I didn’t know it was the best part. It’s my first time watching the fucking video.” I was rolling. 😂😂😂 Also, I saw Prince 38 times, and I was only 22 when he passed. My first show, I was 13. And then I saw him play 37 times at Paisley Park between 2013 and 2016. So many incredible memories from that time. Anyway…someone already mentioned the 2009 Montreux shows. I think those two shows are the best he’s ever performed….not as much movement and production on stage, but musically sublime. I’d love to see you react to one (or both) of the full shows. 🥰

Also, you gotta dig into some of the later music too. He didn’t get the commercial recognition he deserved for his later work, but it is still fantastic. Check out the videos for Musicology, A Million Days, Call My Name, Cinnamon Girl, Black Sweat, and Te Amo Corazon. And his performance from the 2005 NAACP awards is absolute fire! 🔥 Start there and let me know when you’re ready for more. 😂

He did literally have a vault like Ducktales. In fact at one point he lost the combination to unlock it and he had to have new stuff kept outside the vault until it was finally cut open. There is enough music in the vault to release at least one new album a year for over 100 years. That's how much he recorded.

I've seen him live about 30 times, haha!! 😹 He is amazing. This song, Sign O The Times was really popular at the time and had such an impact culturally. Arguably, though, the album version is the best version. It's so minimal and perfect, you could hear a pin drop. He is never able to capture that live, which I always found a bit disappointing...
@cosmicsoul44992 жыл бұрын
It is literally this type of vault !!! About 10.000 unreleased songs / videos / movies etc, etc 🤯😁😂🤣 💜 O+> 💜

Don't be jealous, even those of us who did see him live didn't have the benefit of being able to view the number and variety of live performances that are now easily accessed online. This cut is probably the most tame of that entire concert, which was filmed live and then touched up before being released to cinema and home video. It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night and If I Was Your Girlfriend from that same show will knock you for a loop. P.S. That lady dancer has some thoughts about those days: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHnWc3atrquol9E

@@ReactivityTV I was 9yrs old when I discovered Prince. Xmas that year I got a record player. I remember being excited to play a record so I opened the rest of my presents...my mom and dad forgot to buy me some records. Later that night as I stared at this machine I thought to myself "how could they get me a player and no records" I did what any normal kid would do, I snuck into my sister's room and took (borrowed) one of hers. It was dark and I didn't see what I grabbed but it didn't matter I just wanted to play the damn thing. It was 'Little Red Corvette' and '1999' back to back singles. It was late so I had to actually place my ear to the speaker to hear it on volume 1. What I heard was nothing I have ever heard before it invaded my brain and to know more. I didn't fully understand the songs but I knew even at that age this was different. "She had a pocket full horses Trojans and some them used" it was years later I found out what that meant. I only seen him perform live 4 times but all 4 are in my top 5 best concerts. I used to think he's not human. But I guess if you dedicate yourself as much as he did then it makes why he was so so so great. I don't know how he did it but I'm sure glad I was alive when Prince was making music. He changed my whole perspective of genres from rap, rock, jazz, blues, pop, funk, r&b, classical, disco, ballads, and whatever else I'm missing. He did it all. 40yrs later I'm still that kid just absolutely in love with his music. A great human being as well. Tough to work but also a giver. I'm sorry I could go on and on. I don't know what you've seen but I'll recommend some videos soon 0(-+>
