HOLY SHIT. I’ve not had such a intense experience for many years. Shivers down my spine tears in my eyes and my legs moving in rythm. And then the fusion of classical and ethnic music, all the semplicity and emotion of music for children and young people, the spoken narration (which brings back the tradition of telling tales with musical accompaniment) all of these things were simply outstanding. No tchaikovsky or mahler symphony, chopin ballade or liszt liebestraum had ever produced such an immediate emotional response in me. New Classical music is NOT FUCKING DEAD.

This is great in so many ways. The orchestra plays at a high level, the narrators deliver their lines with drama and clarity, the young conductor is astounding, and the staging/filming makes for a captivating presentation . The fact that there exists a system to bing an event like this to life near brings a tear to my eye. I love the inclusion of beginners and the daf ensemble, because broadening the audience for orchestra is so important. Finally, hats off to you for a colourful, tuneful, and dramatic composition. I really found the whole thing inspiring.
