Apparently when they did the "Prince party scene' in the; New Girl; Prince had his people contact them to find out who they casted or which actors they got to play in the scene and they said "I hope it's not the Kardashians" 😂 Next thing you know the show discarded the scripts, they had already casted the Kardashians. 😂They K clan were out! ......thanks to Prince😜

Man I miss Prince. To see him laugh was everything. The Jay Leno skit when he's in the sunroof made me laugh with an almost certainty of a couple of tears being shed. When Leno says we are filming and he turns to the camera and leans back laughing is priceless. Prince will always be my favorite 💜💜💜

Another interview that had a funny moment was the Tavis Smiley when Tavis wanted to talk about some of his songs and he had printed out the lyrics. Prince was curious to know who or where he got the lyrics because he said that he saw so weird re writes of his stuff 🤣 like one time they said they lyrics to 'When doves Cry" dig if U will a picture of me Marvin Gay and the kids😆😂 and another one, a women he described who didn't speak the english language to good who had cute daughter that's why they were acquaintances (sounds like he was talking about Mayte's Mom)😜 swore up and down the lyrics to 'Little Red Corvette was 'Pay the rent collect" 🤣😂 He really cracked me up. 😅😂

I thought I would have heard of when Prince was on Tavis Smileys show on PBS and he take a dig at Michael Jackson when he said " it's live ,not memorex , and MY MICROPHONE IS ON"‼️ was the greatest line to me when both were alive💯✅️🔥‼️

What’s funny about the muppets tonight was I was watching another video talking about Disney history and they showed part of the muppet babies as part of a trailer of sorts and I said “I need to see Prince with the muppets” and now I finally found it. With help but found it. I hope you’re proud Prince. :)

The best simple Prince story with humor was during a tour. They had this guy who was hired to set up Prince's equipment and guitars - but was doing a bad job. The guy looked just like Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish). Well, in the middle of his performance, Prince was having all kinds of sound issues and malfunctions with his guitar...again this is in the middle of the show. Prince shouts into the microphone "HEY HOOTIE!!!! Yer fired!!!"

Does anyone recall the spoof video of "Prince" preying on photographers or journalists? He played it on the jumbotrons prior to a concert, I think it was Musicology. The fact the he enjoyed that joke on himself was similar to the "breakfast can wait" cover.

My favorite funny Prince moments was Wrecka Stowe, Jay Leno dressed as an officer and Prince Pops out of the sunroof car. Plus when Prince wore the yellow outfit and he turns around with his fake butt pants. He was hysterical!

It's because of Prince's great sense of humor that I actually like Under the Cherry Moon, have seen it many times, and will watch it again. I think without him being funny in it, I don't know that I'd have liked it nearly as much because some of the acting is a bit cringe. Prince was naturally funny and it was always a treat to see those moments of him being funny over the years in interviews, little moments in music videos, and movies. I love hearing stories of him pulling pranks on people too.

Funniest moment in an interview: The evil face he makes with his teeth when Rosie O'Donell calls him "cute" on her show back in 96 or 97. You have to pause it to get a good look at it because it is really quick right when the camera cuts back to him.

Nice to see you PF interesting topic. 💜 Prince was naturally funny, so i think that is why it worked so well for him on the 'New Girl' and under the cherry moon and acting came natural for him too, he was just multi talented. My fav was the interview he did was at Much More Music in T.O. and on Jay Leno Personally i think he was at his happiest, imo he seemed to be in a better place mentally and personally which made him relax/chill and really be himself. Also i liked how he looked barely any makeup.

I think this story is funny. Prince carried his own engineer to the studios he rented and of course there is a engineer assigned to the studio. Princes engineer told this story because he was there, I think in the early 80's. Prince set up the board and said "don't touch anything ", to everyone in the room. After a few minutes the studio engineer reached over and turned the fader a centimeter. Prince got on his microphone and said "name you have a phone call at the front desk ". Name walked down the long hall to the desk. Phone call? She said "No ". He walked back in the studio. A few more minutes name reached over and turned the tremble a centimeter. Prince said "name phone call at the front desk ". Prince's personal engineer said "name said "Oh I see ". But how else could prince discipline a stranger at the age of 24 years? That is a good story.

Another weird thing, just the other night, I had a dream, it was in the future, Prince was still alive and Paisley Park was expanded with a huge hotel around the house, the hotel was literally Prince styled. It was weird.
