Frederick made the choice to spend time with another woman - knowing he had a beautiful, loving wife and children at home! What arrogance! He hides behind his royal role to escape responsibility for his actions. If only he would put such effort in his own wife! The "actress" can't hold a candle"to Mary!!! I've read he's known Casanova (a very fitting name) for some years & met her at a ski lodge. (It's recently been found out Frederik & Mary own a ski lodge). Apparently rich & royal families, & their children, often gather at a or different ski lodges. It's said he's good friends with her & sees her every few years. Whether that's with other people & Mary, I don't know. He was meeting a mutual male friend in Spain, who allegedly got sick, so Fredrik & this woman went out without him. I'm hoping it's not an affair as I so respect & admire Mary. She worked hard to fit into the Danish RF. She is lovely, very genuine, so elegant & regal. But you can see it would be easy to talk to her. It seems Frederick has an alcohol problem. He seems to get drunk then act stupid. I think this is the first time he's been accused of an affair. Even if did not cheat, no husband should be in the company of another woman, wining & dining & seeing a show! How did he think he'd get away with being out with another woman, & not being papped? Plus changing at her home, then photographed leaving from there the next morning. Crazy! Maybe he was just very naive, & it was innocent, but it shows a total lack of respect, thoughtfulness towards Mary. I mean he was the Crown Prince of Denmark!! Then, Mary is put in another embarrassing situation, where shortly after she & Frederik hosted the King & Queen of SPAIN in Denmark! The balcony scene after he became king, did seem a bit fake. I think Queen Margaretha, saw that unless Frederik got to be King, quite soon, he'd get bored & frustrated like his father. Who felt like he played second fiddle to Queen Margarethe, & that the Danish did not respect him. At least he is now in a very responsible position, he needs to be careful. He also looked very pleased to be king. I truly hope they work things out, & that he did not actually cheat on Mary. She does not deserve that from him. I get so mad at men, who have so much opportunity & blessings in life. A beautiful good wife, who has stood by him & supported him, lovely children, wealth & privilege, & it's not enough.
