@@ThanenJ my Dad sold it to my uncle who kept it as a work truck, then my uncle gave it to his friend who is less fortunate for free about 7 years ago. I told my uncle to contact him to tell him when he’s ready to sell it that I’d buy it. I could get any 92 f150 but I want that one for sentimental reasons since I basically grew up in that truck and it was the first truck I ever drove when I was like 7 (lived in a farm area) I wanted to make it a street beast and it’s kinda a dream of mine. I love that truck.

No offense dude, but tell me how a 302 ci 4v stock long block (gen 2+) making 800- 1000rwhp on corn and boost is inferior. Look, I think the 7.3 will be an amazing engine for track specific cars, but make no mistake: Ford's killer engine is the Coyote. If you think Ford was in need of a large displacement OHV V8 to be competitive again, you obviously have no idea what's been going on in the streets since model year 2011.

The low end tq just allows those ford guys the lose the holeshot everytime. That’s not mentioning. Those coyotes usually don’t last very long. A coyote will never make the NA torque this motor will, and in time, same will be said about horsepower. That’s a lot of cubes to make very good NA power that a coyote will never touch. Not everyone wants to have to hang turbos or spend 7k on a whipple kit to make big power. Different strikes for different folks, doesn’t make it wrong

Once you let off the power will still be there since it’s still making boost then once you get back in it, it takes a bit for the turbos to spoil back up. Ford should of got rid of that tiny block a long time ago. Only ford powered cars you see winning on the street are windsors

Before you talk find out why they did what they did. This is not a performance engine. It was designed for trucks, Because not every one wanted a diesel. So it was logical to make a big torque OHV gas engine. Don't twist it, the LS isadinosaurmotor the Coyote is high tech and a better design. Give a hot rodder an engine they will find a way to make it run. And LS still old tech no matter how you slice it, lol.
