I haven't done those kind of flips in a while, because I moved onto other strategies that accommodate for larger portfolios, but for the size of my inventory back then, it was a pretty neat strategy.

When you buy CSGO skins from the community market, you can sell them back on the market with no cooldown. The trade cooldown is for trading, not for selling on the market.

in the left column are listed the current items for sale, the one for 20.12 is the cheapest one for sale right now. In the right column are shown the buy orders with 16.16 being the highest amount that people are asking to buy for. So in that situation I would put my buy order for 16.17 just to beat the person at 16.16

Hey I was wondering if this method still works and also how do you know what skins to look at? You said look for skins that have a quantity between 30-200?

Yeah, I mentioned that quantity because I believe that's the sweetspot for to find items that you can sell fast and get a good return. This method still totally works, but it takes a lot of manual work. I currently don't do that method anymore mostly because I do other methods that are more effective and require less work. Tho I would totally continue that method when I have more capital

Best way to calculate it is to input the numbers in your inventory when selling an item. Otherwise, use the 13$ / 1.15 = 11.30$ (after tax). The one with 0.87 works too, but is not mathematically correct. The one with 1.15 works a little more accurate, while the inventory thing is the most accurate.

It is a lot safer to flip items that are also good investments. Though it is also possible to sell items that are falling down in price, you just have to be very quick about it
