I hate to break it to you, but you’re never going to out-research the sports books. They have millions of dollars invested into making the sharpest line they can. Any possible bias or bit of “research” you can come up with is already baked into the player prop line they set. So, it becomes a game of looking for value or inefficiencies in lines and pricing. The sooner you realize this, the better off you’ll be.
