I Hope These Doors Fit my 240sx Restoration

Installing the doors onto the car definitely is a huge relief. I was very worried how they would fit since there were so many major components changed. Thankfully the "To - Do" list is shrinking!

I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up by myself. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

Mike…. Hope you read this…. Now that you are starting to encapsulate some of your welded sections in the pillars you should look into Eastwood’s interior rocker panel spray to spray the inside of the completed enclosed spaces and help keep them from rusting out from the inside. The spray comes with a long bendable straw that you insert into the area and then when you spray it comes out in a 360 degree spray to coat the whole inside. Use it in frame restorations all the time to protect them. Do it now though before those welds start to surface rust internally. Best wishes, it’s coming out great!

Its really good i know this in germany and we have much rust so we coat the whole inner sections with a ropelubricant after this spray

If I were you I would look at auto metal direct. They make a lot of replacements for classic American cars so they might be able to make you another quarter. Do agree they need to start making more s chassis body parts. I can buy a new 68 Camaro body but not quarters for a s13 which is like a Camaro in the jdm world. Love the build and can’t wait to see it driving again

My friend is actually in talks with a metal stamping company to have molds made to start making new s13 fenders and quarters that panel would help alot! As we wouldn’t have to chop them off of a donor hatch that we have.
