I love how Drew is calling Cole out for making it a spectacle, but you literally would not hear Drew Gibson's name all season if he didn't prey on drama.

the jedi thing was great. I'm not even a star wars fan. I don't even feel like it's unprofessional at all. ancient sport pastimes even have silly traditions, a lot of them so old they become part of the cultural pastiche and no longer even have the effect on the crowd they maybe once did. with disc golf we get to write our own new traditions. how special is that?

I think it might be wiser to go for string OB lines as in/out is more obvious. If not for the complete OB at least where going OB is most likely
@Stradivarius62887 ай бұрын
The problem with string is it moves. The solution to that is make it 100% taut. The issue with that is 1. That's really difficult on uneven ground and 2. It causes a tripping hazard that if tripped over, either moves or breaks causing a question about where the line is again.

Yeah, self referreed tournaments are fine for amateur tourneys, but professionals should have professing referees. Period. It's amaturish and kind of pathetic that pros are forced to police each other. And why do we expect a player who quits (whether or not in protest) when there's no point in continuing, to be punished or sanctioned, while we expect that same player to keep everyone else honest? Childish. Professional disc golf deserves better. If I were a financial sponsor, I'd drop my sponsorship in protest until professional referees were hired.

It looked like it could have been a foot fault to me, foot seems to be beside the disk not behind. The star wars thing is cool and these things should be able to happen within reason. Most importantly you should be able to DNF anytime you want and the people calling for adding penalty justify playing through minor injury or major for that matter. Thank you for saying what I have been saying since day one, the FPO looked horrible in fact it was unwatchable(except for Weathermen). The whole tournament on both sides was boring with no energy from the booth, course and players. Tour needs to STOP having a tourney after 4/5 rd majors. And it is getting highlighted again this week in LV where it is so boring DGN isnt covering it. Sometimes less is more, not more of a lesser thing. Also why would they do a 3 hole playoff for a nothing tournament? You do that for a major and major ONLY.
