Another iMovie editing tutorial! This time I show you how to save tons of editing time using one of iMovie's more obscure features: the Clip Trimmer. Spoiler alert: it's not just for trimming clips! Just another one of the pro-level features you'll find in this "amateur" video-editing software. Enjoy. MK

First off great videos. Well made, thought out and narrated... When I go into the Clip Trimmer and try to drag the clip over to line up with an audio marker the clip does not slide. Any idea why this would be happening? using version 10.1.10. Thanks again.

Thank you a thousand times over! I have been struggling through exactly what you stated near the end where I have meticulously timed out clips with music and then adjust something earlier, creating a vicious circle of hours of readjustments. You just added countless hours to back to my life:-) Also, your style of instruction is perfectly paced. Thanks again!

Awesome.. I Laughed out loud when you described a timing situation as "Something is -bothering- me." Yes, that is the precise word for it when the timing is off with something during an edit. It can be very subtle. Next thing I know it does indeed turn into a ripple affect adding hours to the process. Thanks, that was very helpfuil!

Mate! This is genius! Thanks so much! The whole series is just great! A little slow on the show but this is pure gold! I edit my movies for memories simply - have loads of clips with my children doing all sorts of activities and want to make them into nice short movies and so I do not want to buy premiere or any other software and it looks like iMovie is much better than it seems - I was learning from experience and trial & error and you, my dear sir, are making me stare with disbelief at what this free software can actually do! Lovin' it!!! Keep it up and you've got my sub for ever until the end of days!
