Pro Metabolic MAPLE MARSHMALLOWS full recipe | Sally Hand

Ingredients:
1/2 cup water (lukewarm)
2 tablespoons grass fed beef gelatin - Try this one: amzn.to/3TuZ0n9
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon mineral rich sea salt - Try this one: amzn.to/3DpOOqf
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method:
Divide water evenly between a stand mixer and a saucepan. Add maple syrup and salt to the saucepan and bring to a boil for about 5-10 minutes, until super bubbly and thickened. Meanwhile, bloom gelatin by sprinkling it over the water in your stand mixer. Make sure it all has contact with the water (you can add just a tiny bit extra on top if need be) and let sit for about 5 minutes. Once the maple mixture is thickened, turn the stand mixer on slowly and add the maple mixture + the vanilla extract. Turn the stand mixer to high and whip until the formation of stiff peaks. Moving quickly, transfer your marshmallow mixture to a lined backing dish (whatever you have on hand) and use the parchment to press into your desired shape (it will look a little scraggly but that just makes them artisan lol). Allow to sit unrefrigerated for at least an hour, before cutting with sharp kitchen shears into your desired shapes. Enjoy on hot cocoa, coffee, or for roasting!
