I like how you updated your comment to show that you’re not just listening to, but enjoying “One Thing at a Time”. I love all of the songs on there but know not everyone does but there are enough songs, I think, that there’s literally something on there for everyone to listen to and enjoy! You should definitely check out the Dangerous and One Thing at a Time Sessions along with the other Abbey Road Sessions, if you haven’t already! They all sound much different than the album versions, but for me, they all sound really great! ☺️🎶

He writes some of his music. The song isn’t on an album or a single yet. This is the first recording of it.

You should check out a few more of his songs he recently recorded at Abbey Road Studios, you’ll find some songs from the album your recently listened to and will notice that it’s not over produced at all. Morgan Wallen is an amazing artist and songwriter, also a great live performer! I’m sure he will grow on you!

Er, yeah we know everything about Morgan, he’s very versatile and also authentic. Even as a huge fan, 36 songs was a lot to digest, so it helped to pick a few I liked right off and then gradually introduce more so as to give a proper listen and not get overwhelmed. He had already released or teased at least 1/3 or the songs - at least 6 have been number 1 Country and a couple have been #1 Billboard. Just today announced he’s headlining Hyde Park July 4.

You're certainly entitled to a musical opinion, especially with your credential, but I can't see how one can listen to the 36 songs on One Thing At A Time and come away thinking all the songs have anything near the same sound. Yes. all highly produced, but very different from one another from a genre and sonic perspective. Compare Devil Don't Know & Tennessee Numbers traditional Country to Sunrise and Thinkin' Bout Me just for starters. Yes this is new and very different even from a guy who already does very different; but technically it's not even released as a track; only performed / recorded and uploaded onto KZbin; along with 5 Sessions versions of songs from the album and one rock cover. The band guys have mostly all been with him since he began at age 20-21 in 2014. He was a writer on 17 of 32 off the Dangerous album and 12 of 36 on his latest album. Most of his older music, he was a writer. He has close friends who have written several with him, but also they sometimes write for him; they are also soloists. HARDY & ERNEST. Also Ashley Gorely (58 #1 songs as a writer) and his cousin Jared Mullins. Many other writers and some singer-singwriters as well (Larry Fleet) in Nashville; many, many tryna constantly pitch songs to him. He's album has yet to leave the Top 10 for 52 weeks since release. Not been below #6 USA all genres.

Cheers for the message. I think you are for sure right. I gave it one listen and then it just got lost amongst the myriad of releases. If anything listening to this new song from him has made me wanted to see what I've missed out on.

The reason for the latest KZbin release of seven performed songs was the album drop anniversary March 3, 2024. @@DaveWildheart

Ironically enough his latest 2 albums have more songs written by other. But he has some songs that he wrote that are performed by other artists. So it’s a yes, and no on him performing his own songs. He colabs a lot for his own albums, but is a decent writer for other artists as well.

His albums are heavily produced. But he has done sessions like this for last 2 albums. So if you are not a huge fan of the pop production on the albums, you can look for “the dangerous sessions” and I forget what he called the other one. Something “sessions”.
@DaveWildheart8 ай бұрын
Oh nice, I'll check them out
@DesireeFalls12028 ай бұрын
The other “sessions” is from his last album, “One Record at a Time Sessions.” I’m reallyyyy hoping when he goes back to London in July that he’ll record more Abbey Road Sessions!! I even cheeked Google Maps to see if they’re near each other, Hyde Park and Abbey Road Studios, and they’re close enough that he could do it! 🤞🏼

Naw your not wrong his album version often has the hip hop infused beats. I have to listen to his music like this, the Abby road sessions and the dangerous sessions are a great way to listen to his music! In fact it's the only way I can listen to him. Good reaction and your not wrong. He and his buddies hardy, and earnest flowers write a lot of his hits.

on the one thing at a time album he wrote a quarter of the songs like 12 or 13 out of the 36 and has written for other people and himself a lot but he does write, Dangerous The double album has more of an outlaw country feel to it with a lot of the songs so that one might be better to listen to since a lot of it is slower and lest poppy
