There is a league called CGL or console gaming league and other new leagues like Junkrat meta league for console teams that has different tiers from gold to t500. You can check it out if you are a console player looking to play with a group of friends or in a league. It is a very cool experience

100% can confirm My jump for Lucio is on the left trigger so I can walk ride and shoot at the same time. It defaults at X which makes it nearly impossible. Same with Mercy’s jump so I can float easier

As a console Reinhardt main your sensitivity has to be high to flick your shield on the joysticks but then its really hard to hit your fire strikes

I don’t know what is causing the ‘bug’ where Rein can charge past that corner and connect to any one even though they’re out of his LOS and path when they’re in the corner. I was watching a KZbinr called RedShell; and the same exact thing happened! He was in the corner completely out of Reinhardt’s charge path, yet it still connected him and he basically teleported from his position into Rein’s body. Seeing this clip just further confirmed my soeculations that it’s a bug. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

I think what happened is Mercy got booped into it by his charge. His shoulder clipped her, which normally would result in a boop. However, because if the wall's angle, she got knocked into his path almost immediately. It happens so fast, you don't see her get repositioned into the charge sweetspot

Yeah, they low key changed Reins charge a while back and told no one. Chest side: Literally SUCKS the person in, like a damn grav. Shoulder side: Boops but still does a decent amount of damage. Edit: Sty...ty...for the SR change! XD It used to be like "OK, gonna put it up, look away, the SR is on the screen *ramble* OK 3,2,1 there it is." Hahaha. I had to 10 second jump forward to actually miss the SR.

This is my own personal opinion and from my own experience, but I think that the way blizzard should balance the game for the sake of fun would be to create a rein-zarya/brawl meta, as in my own experience I have found that to be the most fun and my friends seem to agree with me, and there is also much outplay potential with earth shatter and grav usage. However I don’t think they should buff rein or zarya but instead nerf the characters who would counter the meta. I am only in gold/silver so perhaps I am outright wrong but this is just my opinion, I am also a console player

The fact this is masters says it all about the current state of the game on console, this is not high level rein play, look at the push at 4:00 - both his dps are in front of him at one point because he’s taking so long to move forward, stood still shielding nothing, with nothing in front of him

People call themselves pros on console but most of the time fights are based off of abilites rather than aim damage. There aren't situations like where some McCree, Ashe, or Widow managed to get a headshot on a maximum speed Lucio wall ride on console, cause no one can really shoot Lucio when he's going that fast unless they're using a mouse. There are pros, but on Console usually it's not a carry match.

I play controller and I can climb past 4000 because the season reset and all the 4500 mnk players are put in my games, then they get tilted at me because I cant play on a level playing field as the enemy. There is a professional league for console gaming. It's called the console gaming league. They play other games but they have from tier 1 - tier 6 for overwatch. I am part of a tier 2 team for overwatch. They stream matches and do a lot with the overwatch league.

I can tell you for a fact you will not get anywhere blaming your teamates. I'm a console gm player that started in low silver. I climbed through every rank including plat. I spent about 2 - 3 seasons in each rank. I am constantly blaming myself and looking on what to do better. That's why I climbed. You can always improve.

Trust me I’m as surprised as you or actually more and I’m a console rein as well, I’ll play with an advanced squad and block 13 out of 15 shatters over a couple of hours, nothing gets past me when I’m sweating in a rein v rein and no matter how good one does I cannot even get a simple compliment for literally shutting down their tankline most of the matches so that’s OW on console for ya
