An important thing to do is also take acting lessons. I have a friend at college who is training to become a wrestler, he is in a wrestling school, he's in the gym during most of his spare time and is also enrolled in a two year acting course at college

I had my first class. Doing drills, bumps, rolls. I decided pro wrestling is not for me. I am totally terrified of breaking my neck. I am also an amateur boxer. I thought I could do both. From my first class, I have the utmost respect for pro wrestlers. You deserve your World Championship Justin.

I'm going to the House of Truth in April and the way some of the wrestlers in the area that I've talked to heavily support that I know that'll help me get booked and help me to know what I'm doing not only in the ring but in a pro wrestling environment.

I trained with Eddie Sharkey & Terry Fox back in 97. Was loving it but then my knee shredded on me. A little advice though, you kids will meet alot of guys that have been in those schools for a while, ignore the politics! Yes even the schools have them. Don't get caught up in it, you are there to learn. Hey, there's a Wrestling 101 for ya, Politics lol

Hey big fan of you and the channel, keep it up 👍. I live close to the Funking Conservatory here in Ocala, Florida. My question is, would you recommend going there to start learning and training as a beginner?

I dont like to refute advice of people who know more than me but shiiiiit....I'm still new to the scene. I paid $50 for a 4 hour class with some WWE hall of famers and did lock ups for 3 hours and took 2 back bumps (the more advanced people got to run moves in the ring). They do these schools once per month. I dont regret that experience but I found a smaller indy scene with 24 hour gym membership included training basically 16 hours a month (2 hours/day 2 days/week) for $100. I know I might get what I pay for but in my experience so far, I'd feel better off learning the basic fundamentals in an environment where I can practice more than 1 day per month. Fundamentals are definitely important, hard to break bad habits, I know. I'm likely to do both schools, and thats $150/month for me. If you can afford 3 grand, go for that but I dont think it's fair to say if you arent spending that much or going to this or that school that it doesnt mean anything. If you're a doctor that went to Harvard or whatever you're probably pretty good but that dont mean you get a doctorate at whatever state university that you're less qualified. All that extra gets you is name dropping. But then again, dont listen to me cause while I am serious, I'm only trying to be a "weekend warrior" right now and live out a childhood dream and dont exactly have aspirations to make it to the WWE (but if I did, that sounds cool too). What you're saying here is dont even sing songs unless you want to be Post Malone. If fulfilling my dream is half-assing your dream it dont matter cause that's my dream. Strive for greatness, yeah but dont take the fun out of it.

Is there still any NWA Wrestling Schools anymore? The last one I heard about was back in 2004 up in Wisconsin. I was living in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 2004 so that's how I learned about that School. But I didn't know what city it was located in.

@@TheGuyThatJerks The only reason why I asked was my 25 year old Nephew wants to go to a Wrestling School and I told Him that as far as I knew there's an Old Fashioned NWA School. He's looking for a Reputable School in West Central Illinois.

Because it's about respecting the business, first and foremost. The 125lber will do nothing but get hurt. The person running the school should tell him to prove himself by gaining weight and looking the part. Half the indy workers nowadays shouldn't even be setting foot in the ring. The business is supposed to be at least somewhat believable.

Nope!! You must have a professional athletic experience prior joining!! NCAA, UFC, Other Pro-Wrestling promotions!! They hold tryouts, and test you, so you must bring something to the table!! The WWE Performance Centre is like an the internship year of pro-wrestling, before being in one you must be qualified with a degree first!!

Donald Trump You should reverse that. Go to college, get a degree in video game development, then give Pro Wrestling a try. Once you realize you can't do it, then you have that video game crap to fallback on. Just being honest. No disrespect intended. If Pro Wrestling is "back up" to you, then you don't belong. Pro Wrestling is for those who love it. If you change your way of thinking, then you may make it somewhere. Good luck.

As an aspiring pro wrestlers, I've realized things from PW 101 that made me reevaluate a lot of things, and helped me be better at this life and craft. If ANYONE should open up a Pro Wrestling school it's definitely Justin Credible. He should call the school Pro Wrestling 101. Justin would train to not only teach someone to wrestle, but also to be a ref, to be a commentator, to be a manager, to cut promos, etc..basically everything we see for free on this page. I LOVE Justin Credible and I really, strongly believe that one of the greatest ECW World Heavyweight Champions of all time would have a very successful Pro Wrestling School. God bless you Justin!!
