Really nice workshop! I appreciate everything Tom added, great knowing about the Raw 60 with external recording. Updating the anamorphic settings to be customizable, especially adding 1.5x would be huge. It would also help against your competition with black magic's offerings. I would pre-order a C80 today if I knew it had updated anamorphic settings in the firmware.

Yes. 4K codecs such as XF AVC and XF HEVC S use the full sensor but take advantage of that 6K resolution to give you an oversampled image.

@@sa.t.2507 Yes it is. You set it to an assignable button and it will cycle through Auto Base, and all 3 manual Bases. Really quick on the go.

No heat limitations or recording limits in the C80. Record to your hearts content! Also no forced crop in any of the shooting modes.

@@LukeSchaeferFilms Hi Luke, there is no forced crop in raw. Full frame/sensor 6K 30p internal raw is possible. The only time a crop is used is if you wish to shoot 4K raw and in this case it uses those pixels from the middle of the sensor; this is normal practice for any camera to maintain the footage as 'raw'.

Why is it we always focus on low light... why not focus on keeping the highlight to get it back in post? lige on film cameras.
