I don't understand why when calculating acceleration at B, we summed up the weight of B and the weight of A although we're studying B only. And thank you for you efforts ❤️

The first part, we analyze if block A is moving on it's own. Once we know it is not, then can conclude that the two blocks are moving together as "one" particle. Therefore we need to analyze the mass of the moving particle. Hope that helps clear it up.

@@theengineeringcrucible3490 Yes I got it 😄 Thank you so much ❤️ I was wondering if we were to study Block B only, how would the F.B.D look like ?

@@mostafazewail3287 You would have, Weight of B going down, Normal force on B done by the floor (N_bf) going up, Normal force on B done by A (N_ba) going down. Friction force going to the right, done by AB surface (that would be the force that makes it move to the right.

@@theengineeringcrucible3490 but now the mass will be the weight of B only ( not the total weight) divided by 32.2 if I am not mistaken, which will result in different acceleration magnitude. Can I have your email or any contact information ?

@@mostafazewail3287 Yes exactly, but that's if they are moving as two particles.
