LOVE it! The thing I DON'T love is camping in heavy wind. Years ago, we had friends that owned acreage in So. California. We would "claim" our spot and even pulled our 21' Prowler and parked it there [at the base of a mountain]. Everyone built a deck and we would watch the sunset, with cocktails in hand. Santa Ana winds are brutal when they blow! First, we lost our fence overnight. Then, we got a call from our friend that there was extreme damage to our campers, and trailers on "The Hill". The winds blew down the mountain and our trailer was lifted up and thrown down the ravine. It cracked open like an egg and scattered the contents everywhere, destroying a lot of them. We were there [with baby in tow] the weekend before [shiver]! We ALWAYS parked our NEXT trailer on flat land!! LOVED the butternut soup and handy dandy potato masher, the joy of snowboarding and, of course, watching Kamp just be Kamp [aka, happy dog]. 💖

Hi Elsa, I’m Métis and the way I was taught is No egg!! ❌ Mix the oil with warmish water first then add that to the dry ingredients Dough should be thicker than pancake batter but not a full hard dough Scoop 1/4 cup size into pan Use lard !!!!!! to cook in which give it that signature flavour ;) Trust me.. no egg !!!!! 1 non-heaping tbsp of baking powder per cup of flour Love your content, hope to see you make our beloved Bannok on point!!! 14:57 Another easy bread to cook is chapati. 2 cups of flour (I use 1 cup white and 1 cup spelt, but it works with all kinds of flour), a scant tsp of salt, and a cup of water. Mix. Form dough into ball (add more flour if too sticky) and cut into 6-10 even pieces depending on how large you want the bread to be in the end. Roll out into circle and cook for approx. 90 seconds on each side in a med-high pan. (no oil in the pan, just nice and hot) They poof up in the pan and are *super* delicious plus take almost no effort to make. Love the video as always. Cheers from Scotland!

I love love love this video. I will be turning 62 this year and I plan on retiring living solely on Social Security. I love Adventure travel and I'm passionate about snow skiing. I plan on basically touring the West Coast hitting different ski resorts. I hear a lot of ski resorts let you camp in their parking lot for a very small fee if you're not hooked up to anything. I've been watching lots of videos of yours and others living in RVs, campers, vans, tents, and even in their cars. I plan on starting out in my current car living very minimalist so that I can do this. I'm getting great ideas from you and others on all what I'm going to need. My needs because I won't have to work will be a simple solar panel on my dashboard just to charge my phone and Chromebook. Living the simple life and being free doing what I want finally after working since I was 15. I can't wait I'm excited and it gives me inspiration and the courage to do it alone. Fear is the only thing that gets in the way of someone doing the things they love and living differently than others. I've always carved my own path and I'm not going to let fear get in the way. I love your dog. He is so cute😍
