I really enjoyed your presentation. Figuratively speaking, I loved carousels as a kid. Around and around,like God's endless circle of love,ups and downs like joys and pain we experience in life. All was paid for by Christ's through His sufferings and death. Great job@

I've been toying with the idea of using the Hook-Story-Offer model for church posts and this helps a lot. Thanks for being awesome as always!

So brilliant. I have always wondered how IG carousel posts worked! Now I know! Right on Brady!

They work also on FB, but you have to use a different format -- power point can mimic it, using the flip page turner transition, and then you convert the pptx into a video after you get the timings right. I did one for FB using my pastor's sermon as a jump off point - his topic was forgiveness. Lots of good meat and a good hook was easy to create, "how can I find my way to forgive someone who's hurt me badly?" Check out your pastor's sermons for content, no need to reinvent the wheel, and then he'll also see that social media truly is a not just a way to promote the church but another way to do ministry.

I would seriously love if you made some content about marketing prints for churches, such as communication forms, ministry booklet, next steps flyers, salvation packets... My church is working on doing these things but we aren't sure where to order from or if they are even effective...

Love it. Do these tactics work for engagement ads? Would there be a reason to put a budget behind this type of post to build our email list and get more engagement? Or is this strictly for social posts? Thanks!

I am a big fan of NS (and this channel as well) and have been a subscriber for a year but now I am helpless. Not because of lack of engagement, but because of church's/Christians' general consensus that online ministry is not ministry. Any strategy or recommendation to deal with this old-fashioned antipathy against what we are doing?

Hi Brady. I would love to hear your opinion on topic Instagram posts vs stories. What should go where and how often. Your content is Superb. I really appreciate it :) Greetings from Latvia.

Generally, more polished content goes on the feed. Impromptu/organic/stripped down content goes on Stories. I use the feed more for teaching and I use Stories more for engaging my audience.

Is there a good tutorial for doing this in Facebook stories?
@heatherthyne23073 жыл бұрын
I don't know about a tutorial, but I plan to use Power point to prepare slides -- you can set it up as a video rather than a carousel, and set the transitions to look like flipped pages (all done in power point), then you export the pptx file to create a video (don't use full HD - use 720 to save space and upload times), and in the export process you can set the timing for the slides overall, or you can do that before in the preparation (you would use "saved" timing then). Since it's a video it can be easily paused. That's a quick explanation of the workaround I'm using. I think it's harder to figure out the "intersection" and the "hook" than the techniques!

Relaxing with my family for the most part. Kind of got into the rhythm of *not* posting consistently and then decided to lean into that after I found myself enjoying the break. First time in about ten years of not posting consistent public content. I certainly enjoyed the break. Glad to be back though!

@@prochurchtools I think you made a great decision. I’m a little older than you and at a different stage in life in my ministry and life journey. I’ve had to do some of the same thing lately. Slow down, focus, and determine where I’m going. I’m glad you had a great time with your family. You’ve done a lot of good ministry service for social media and the church. Keep up the great work, but Slow down when you have to
