Love the tutorial bro! You should try something.. Send all your melodies into a single bus. Create a drum bus, and side chain the drum bus with the melody bus. Also, if you have a reverb send, route the reverb to the melody bus. I do this all the time and it gives tons of head room for drums and melody reverb without anything clashing. Also helps the drums sound a lot more clear :)
