My son didn't start talking until he was 3. My husband and I were very concerned. He was reading by kindergarten and by second grade he got tested for the Gate program and was accepted. Now lil homie is 9 and can give full on Ted Talks😂 It's really amazing. His father and I both went to college but he casually explains things and talks to us about topics we didn't learn until highschool, it's almost scary😅😅

I've been concerned about them hitting milestones before and then they completely trump it seemingly overnight. I had a friend in 3rd grade who could barely read. He was my neighbor so after school I would help him with his homework and read with him. He moved away after a year and I didn't see him again until we were 25/26. We were at a job orientation and I didn't recognize him at all initially. Afterwards he came up to me and said "You taught me how to read!" I'm low-key freaked out and then he starts reminding me who he was. Turned out he had just graduated from UCLA as a Lit Major. Go figure 😂
