Producer Man | Hermitcraft Shade-E-E's Animatic

"Those who have a chance will trust in Producer Man."
FINALLY done with this AMV. This took me well over 100 hours to complete. I was intrigued an idea for a darker twist on Shade-E-E's shop services, and wanted to explore a small facet of just how far the hermits will go in order to get the blue shinies.
I tried to stay pretty close to what happens in the actual series. Some liberties taken, obviously Keralis didn't die from Endermites, and I had to gloss over some of the storyline where Keralis took on Shady!Etho's role behind his back... but the rest is pretty accurate, just twisted, from what happened in the series. Obviously I love the lighthearted nature of Shade-E-E's, this AMV is not to ahem throw shade on any of the hermits... just to explore the story in a darker setting!!

In this animatic, it feels like that moment in a TV show where the villain was close to getting wrecked by a protagonist, but then the protagonist did a naughty and instead worked with him (for revenge this time), letting the villain live and prosper forevermore

See, in that playthrough of Hermitcraft, I had never thought of Etho as a villain. Morally not great? Sure, but not a villain. Not once did he lie about any of his products, he just left it vague and misleading. Sort of like how a devil might omit some information of a deal, while still delivering what is promised.
