I hope your migrane passed. 💜 This song hit me the most when I first heard the album, but I get stuck on Too Sad to Dance most of the time. Golden and D-Day are the two individual projects where is the hardest for me to decide a favourite. Ranking... my mind would rebel just thinking about it. Both of these projects have such a wide range and I love all the styles - very hard to choose a favourite. Every day I have a new favourite, according to my mood.

For me the hardest to decide a favorite on was Face. I'm usually good at ranking things as my brain naturally thinks in a comparative way which makes it easier to pick out subtleties between things when ranking. I get what you mean though, ranking things that are very difficult can be quite challenging.

I can’t really identify with the lyrics either, but honestly JK could sing ingredients of his favorite noodles and still get me in my feels. There’s just something about his delivery… Anywayyys… great reaction as usual. I love how you get all nerdy about the producer stuff! Yes I agree! It's his delivery that makes it special. I have always thought he is really good at singing a sad song and making it even more sorrowful. Personally, the lyric wasn't that emotional but yes his voice makes it sound so sad its almost like he is mourning even though it wasn't a mourning song.

As a chronical migraine suffering myself, I do understand and wish you a good recover. It sucks. Regarding the song, I like it a lot (mostly because this is a chill soft piano song) but it is not one of my favorites. I am not THAT emo. But sonically, Love it.

I understand the pain of migraines. So, I'm glad this was the last. Nice and calm. But I wish you heard the album instead of just one song at a time. It takes you from Seven to Shot glass full of tears. It's perfect. From meeting, falling in love, problems, and then finishes with a heart breaking break up. His dance songs were fantastic don't get me wrong, I love dance songs, but he makes ballads sounds so great. I love the stacked vocals in harmony, but his whispering voice is just so good. But just think about it this is the last song in the album. They put all the dancy and happy songs in the beginnning and this song last, this is the the end of the love story he is telling us. "Your brother walked in and now you look like the Great Value version now" ... you lol. I heard what you meant on the stacks and it seems like the second half they kept the stacks from the half chorus before and added another set ontop of it that was in a minor chord. I think the disscordant sound made the stack sound more mechanical. But that second set of stacks did not elevate in the same way. Hope your migraine gets better.
