they’re definitely a breath of fresh air with their soft pop / chill style of music which can be really rare in kpop and i think that’s why they’ve gotten so much attention from not just kpop fans but the gp as well

I don't know why labels are so scared of doing something from the norm, if your artists are talented it will only make them stand out more. It's only when your artists suck that being different flops & if you think your artists suck, why did you sign them lol

New Jeans is such a good group and so fresh in kpop. I absolutely love their sound as it feels nostalgic yet new and they sound really great singing together.

They're entire discography is groovy, u gotta listen to them all now. I recommend doing the dance practice videos with or instead of the MVs since they have really good choreo and it's hard to see in the MVs

So, they released Attention with other MVs like Hype Boy, Hurt, and Cookie all together. There is no main single to the ep. Then they continue this trend of always having an MV with their songs. My favorites currently are Cool with You and Ditto. Also, the videos are so interesting and very cinematic. Their producer, Min Hee Jin was from SM before and also worked with Taehyung on his Layover album (that you enjoyed a lot).

So they dropped them all on the same day or there was a release order, just nothing designated a title track? Ahhhh HYBE stole a talented person I see & yeah Tae's album was fire for sure

@@AmariLeone Not all on the same day but pretty close, like 1-2 days difference for each. But they did not announce any of the releases, we did not even know the group was about to debut. They just dropped Attention out of thin air and surprised the hell out of everyone, then a couple days later, they released the other MVs.

@@AmariLeonewe knew there was going to be a girl group because of auditions but not a lot of information besides there will be one, it will be from Min Hee Jin etc but that was about it. Although almost all the members were in the showbiz before debuting (tv, modelling etc)

We just said it was different to epic anthem music. Oh and they have a collab with PowerPuffGirls, maybe that made you think they’re bubblegum pop. Nah they’re Y2K highly vocal and completely revamped the whole K-pop scene. We did say to check them out cuz they’re good! Enjoy the rest of their discography!

I would recommend watching in order of release start with the 1st EP in order, then 2nd EP in order. It will have a better feel and theme that way. This was a cold release with no hype. I think the next was Hype Boy - with diff videos to introduce the members. And as everyone says ditto .... Ditto side A, Ditto side B/get up is arguably one of the most artistic MVs of any genre of music ever.

Now this is a fascinating comment because every other comment I've got about that song has basically said it's their favorite song from the group.
