I love the Grabber 8567. I have this in 12, 20, 28 & 410. I’ve put 1000s of rounds through each one. I also have the size master in 12 & 20, and the Jr. in 12 & 20. I also use their Mec Jig Fixture, so I can swap out reloaders fast and simple. Can’t say enough about Mec. They are awesome. Thanks

Great VIDEO SHAWN!! MEC is the BEST Shotshell Reloader on the market, I should know, I have 4 of them!! Looking to get me a GRABBER next!! I think this is the 1 I should buy. I dont trust myself to manually push the shot bar back and forth in time with the progression of stages. Yes its 2x the $ of sizemaster, but I will enjoy the flatter learning curve and enjoy reloading. The frustration factor is worth the $300 difference.

I like the mec but still have a lot of problems with the primer feeder and now the part the pushes the primer into the shell keeps falling apart because it only held by a spring and there is no fasting device on the bottom of the rod to keep it in place ?

Hi John, The bottom post #525A may have worn slightly shorter and is not holding the assembly in tight. I recommend replacing the primer seating assembly with the current style #525CA12. The current assembly is slightly longer and will fit into the base tighter. I had the same problem with the primer post not staying in place. I got a washer for the post to fit into and JB welded it into place. Works like a champ. I’ll probably do the same with my 650.

I recently purchased from a private seller, is it normal for the powder and shot load to release if no shells are in those stations , like when doing one shot at a time like video, or when completing last shells from stations 4 thru 6 and out of primers in feed tray ?

Hi Jaime, Thanks for commenting and asking the question. When no shells are in the 2nd and 3rd stations , the charge bar should lock up which prevents the powder and shot from dispensing. If the charge bar does not lock up properly when the shells clear the first two stations, follow the following instructions; -Make sure that the charge bar is completely traveling to the left. The small screw in the front of the bar should contact the left side of the chrome measure assembly when the press hits bottom. -The top side of the trip rod #670F should be flush with the top side of the drop tube bracket #670C when the press is in the down position with no shells in the reloader. If the trip rod is above the bracket, bend down on the trip rod bracket #670E slightly until the top of the trip rod is flush with the drop tube bracket. The trip rod bracket is half way down the trip rod. The bar lock spring #670B should also be checked to ensure that it is not weak.
