Is there any reason why a person cannot crimp and size the next shell at the same time? This would be a semi-progressive reloader.

How to work the wad pressure????

Thank you for commenting! The MEC reloaders are all equipped with a wad pressure gauge reading up to 120 lbs. With current plastic wads it is no longer necessary to use this excessive amount of wad pressure. The plastic wads just need to be firmly placed against the powder charge. Normally we recommend that the wad pressure pointer just budge upwards slightly to indicate that the wad has bottomed out against the powder charge. (20-30 lbs max). Just a FYI. I used MEC'S 1.1/8 oz shot bar,and the cup that MEC said was correct for the grains of pouder. After pulling and weighing both pouder and shot, I found both were WRONG! I bought a adjustable bar from Ballistic Products, and adjusted and weighed powder and shot many times to dial in the correct amounts of powder and shot. In my opinion, don't waste your money on their bars and cups. They are not accurate measures. I have had my Sizemaster for about 30 years and am back into trap shooting in 2024, after a 20 year break from trap shooting.

Interesting that a MEC company picture (0:25) has the shot and powder bottles reversed on the loader. Seriously MEC ... in a company video?? Would think you would want to correct that :O

At the final crimp, does the die also taper the shell?

Good show Shawn...are you Shawn Wozniak from M E C in WI ?..just wondering. Please upload a video to show how to put togather the "handle along with it's linkages and mount it back on the Size Master", to work perfectly the way it is designed to work. I will appreciate it very much Shawn. There is no Video on KZbin that shows about it. Now putting back the handle has become a frustrating job Shawn...burning midnight oil and YAWNING for nothing ☹.
